As you don't know why she is no longer on air it's a bit much to speculate as to how "strange" it is.

True. We may never find out why

You will be able to confirm this pako. Did Ryan not only have a weekly show on Radio Borders before he got the network gig. That must he quite unusual to go from not having a daily to show to getting a daily network show.

Great drivetime shows by Kenny Campbell on Westsound FM (Bauer City 2) from Dumfries.

Makes a refreshing change from the usual networked AM output.

I have listened to that online he is a very good presenter. Alan and Gina are really good on the AM network but Ally Bally is terrible.

I like Ally and his show is very popular I think. It looks like Sunday's 1pm - 4pm on the Scottish AM stations are going to be Scottish again with Paul Carlin this weekend instead of Tony Shepherd.

He is better in the mid morning slot than he was on the drive time slot.

That 1- 4 slot on a Sunday kind of stood out as it and Tony Blackburn was only daytime slot coming from England and I doubt Tony will be going anywhere as more people are probably listening now.

Ryan had done overnights on the network for a longtime, and was the main stand-in for a while at RB as well as doing Sundays/Wired. So not unusual.

I agree. Even hearing the promo made me want to turn off.

I don't think it's been mentioned here yet but there are some slight changes on Saturday morning this week. Connor Philips on breakfast, Mike and Kelly 09:00-12:00 (who are they?) and Alex James on the Hot 20.

I'm currently listening to Jonny Chambers on Metro/TFM, in for Brian Moore this week. I'm not at all a Northerner so it took a while to get past his strong accent but actually I've been impressed by him. If Chris Felton was to leave, I would certainly ask Jonny to present this show full time.

I don't get that decision either, it's like when they get celebrities to cover for Paddy McGuinness and it just doesn't work. I've heard the promo and saw the video from when he was on Metro a few weekends ago, definitely a turn off.

I think Mike and Kelly is Mike Toolan from Key 103 covering for Stuart Elmore, with Kelly the usual co-host. Alex always covers the Hot 20 when Darren Proctor's off.

Was it Mike Toolan doing Mike and Kelly yesterday.

I just got a request played on Your Greatest Hits show. I have always wondered if it was actual requests and it is.

Also Bob Malcolm is in all week on the City 2 stations for Ally Bally from 10 - 2 it has been a fun listen. Would love for Bob to get a permanent daily show

I'm listening right now, which request was yours? I've had requests played too on the show before.

So not an actual request, just the song that was play listed for that particular time.

What sort of radio station calling itself "the greatest hits" wouldn't have Rod's, er, greatest hit?

No I asked for Galway girl then Paul said I might not have that can you pick a second song and I picked Rod Stewart's Sailing. I came off the phone and thought I really should have asked for something more unusual but it was the first song that came in to my head.

Oh I heard you lol. The last song I had requested was Badfinger No Matter What which they never seem to play on Clyde 2 but they played it following my request.

I know I sounded really bad.

You must have made them realise it is a good song. I have heard it a few times recently.

Looks like there will be another new presenter taking over the Evening Show on Bauer Scotland in the Summer. Knoxy seems to be moving Abroad. A little unfortunate that another change is happening so quickly but it couldnt be helped. That slot will have had 3 presenters in a year by August. I wonder what lucky presenter will be getting promoted to a network slot this time.

I was listening to Bob just before 2 and it sounds like he is no longer on Saturday Mornings from 10-2 as he said Alan Edwards is doing that show now but Bob said he would be covering for Alan a week on Saturday. That wasn't long Bob had that show for he only took it over in January.

Also no Superscoreboard on Clyde 1 on Saturday, seems that if Celtic and Rangers arent playing on a Saturday then they wont do the show. Gina McKie is on instead but they have a special Superscoreboard on Sunday from 11.40am - 4pm for the old firm game.
