Travelling down is doable - train from Inveness to Edinburgh, then again from Edinburgh to Tweedbank. Tweedbank rail station is just a stone's throw from the RB studios.

Me too, I think the Mike and Kelly show and Floorfillers Chilled are especially good ideas, Darryl Morris will be interesting to hear how he does in the evenings. Only one I'm not sure of is Dave Kelly's extra Floorfillers.

Thanks for that. Can't help thinking Connor made a mistake leaving Cool FM, where his breakfast show had a large audience and won awards. Since moving to GB, he seems to have been the person to fill slots for a time, and is then moved on.

Now he is languishing on an AM/DAB talk station whose RAJARs are a fraction of those on Cool, and appears to be losing his weekend network slot.

I agree with you, he also seemed to be generally much more well received on Cool FM. Living in Leeds and having Aire as my local, it didn't seem like he fitted in to the rest of the line up, but maybe City Talk being much more sport based he might prefer it to the Bauer City 1 format with lots of music. I'm sure he'll pop up from time to time on the network again!

Really excellent show, refreshing to hear something different actually. Still played a little bit of music, but I thought he was interesting, engaging and it worked really well!

Catterall does Extra Time on Talksport so a chatty sort of show, he'll be okay with.

Dave Kelly was discussing his new Floorfillers show on City breakfast this morning and claimed, possibly jokingly, that he doesn't actually know the format of it yet.

I'm sure he dose unless Baeur Management haven't told him.
