How come the English Network Show indemand name was dropped?

So Bauer now have Adam Catterill on Key 103 doing the Late Show and Tony Shepherd with the Late Show from Key studios in Manchester going out across Merseyside, Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Who thinks eventually Bauer will decide to roll this new Late Show with Adam Catterill across Bauer City 1 stations in England except Metro and TFM possibly from January 2017.

Didn't that happen ages ago when the evening slot was "de-merged" (i.e. split into Scotland and England regions again) and Stu Tolan went to Rock FM?

The name itself had been around for so many years and so many formats that it was probably a good idea to retire it IMO.

I havent actually listened to Adam Catteralls new phone in show but if the topics are at the moment specific to a Manchester audience then I dont think they will move it.

The Talk in on the city 2 stations wasnt successful in England

Producers probably assumed that he knows that it's the same format as the Saturday Night Experience show.. Has he been an actual Club DJ or hosted an actual dance show on Radio City before?
Surprised how they've not managed to share some of the dance shows they do on the Kiss network (For example... a later broadcast of Kiss Fresh's Electrik Playground, hosted by Andi Durrant. Saturday night at 10pm?)
Wonder who's replacing So Wright's dance shows on The Hits?

Her Friday show is 7-9 on the hits so she might do both on a Friday

Your right it has been around for years, to me the show was bland and they where running out of ideas.

Clyde are currently getting new studios and they look quite similar to Key 103's studios in Manchester.

Not sure if they will open but heres some pics

No expense spared there. What a truly horrendous colour scheme.

Nothing better to motivate you to entertain than 4 hours staring at a wall.

If it is the same as Key those lights on the walls are colour changing LEDs, so it should look quite good… bear in mind Clyde's studios were in your face red previously, so it is probably a welcome change!

This is OA1 before the refit (taken by Greigsy) https://www.instagram.com/p/BGYtIFQGH7H

And the Key studios look something like this… https://twitter.com/domstirling12/st...02043831607296

How old was the desk that they've used up until now. Are both studios being ripped at the same time or are they working around the live broadcasts?

I think there are doing one studio at a time as they need to have 2 studios working for Clyde 1 and Clyde 2 (city 2 Scotland network)
