So almost a month after the BC1 network changes, just wondered what people are thinking of them?
I would say the best changes are:
Darryl Morris - much, much better sounding than Michael Blades' show, got loads of interaction with the recent money competition aswell, good use of social media.
Floorfillers Chilled - especially on a Friday, excellent, one of my favourite shows, So Wright is a great presenter.
Not really listened to Simon Morykin/Wes Butters, but I'd imagine an improvement on Alex James/Connor Phillips. Weekend overnights seem to be rotating between Chris Felton, Ivan D'Sa (who is excellent) and Josh Collins at the minute.
Mike & Kelly are average, obviously not as good as Boogie & Dingo, and don't work as well as Stu & Kelly did. And Floorfillers with Dave Kelly is also not as good as the outstanding Old Skool & Anthems, but that was a presenter choice to come off Saturday nights and was always going to be a hard act to follow, maybe best to return to the in the mix Saturday Night Experience format.
Rock FM's new line-up is seemingly working, Fiona Sadler has bags of personality, and it'll be interesting to see how Steve & Janine do on breakfast.
Radio Aire Breakfast sounds dreadful, and it's no surprise RAJARs continue to fall alarmingly.
Any opinions on these shows if you've listened?
