So by the sounds of that till the new year the line up on the City 2 stations will be

6am Breakfast
10am Darren Kelly
1pm Gina McKie
4pm Home Run
7pm Tom Davies
10pm Bob Malcolm

Paul Hayes is doing the home run on Radio City 2 in Liverpool till the new year
Except of course in Liverpool which has

6am Breakfast - Simon Ross
10am Darren Proctor
2pm The Greatest Hits
3pm Home Run - Currently Paul Hayes

Key 103 will have a new line up from January as Adam Cole joins the station to replace Darren Proctor.

New Key 103 daytime schedule

6am Mike and Chelsea
10am Adam Cole
2pm 2 o’ clock Anthems with Darren Proctor
3pm Debbie Mac

http://radiotoday.co.uk/2015/12/adam...03-in-january/
Perhaps Adam Cole will be networked, thus explaining why Lee Butler is only hosting midmornings until the New Year?

Let's hope Bob gets a permanent job on the City 2 or at lest the Scottish AM network.
Hes a very good DJ.

Sorry of course. Probably would have been better to say city 2 stations on AM

I doubt it that mid mornings will get networked.

I think there is a chance that an axed DJ from Juice fm will take the mid morning slot on Radio City in the New Year

Adam Coles a great choice for Key 103, returned to cover a couple of weekend shifts on Key last month and sounded really good. Will be looking forward to hearing Coley's show and on the Top 10 @ 10. Keys looking good with Darren and Debbie both on the schedule too, excellent daytime line up

I very much hope there is no networking of the mid-mornings.

Re: Juice FM Presenters- A thought that sprung to my mind, perhaps Mark Kaye?

A good fit with the sound Cities current main line-up would of course be Glen Hunt. Popular first time round, suits the station well and did seem a candidate for the drivetime show when it come up. Mid-morning at City may be considered as a bigger job than that of Breakfast at the smaller Tower FM. That said, he may be entirely happy or wish to be loyal to Tower FM of course, but I think he'd be an excellent fit for the mid-show and could bring back features such as 'TV Ten' or the 'Classic Ending' with him. He would be a good fit for Radio City 2 if they ever needed shows covering.

It is worth mentioning, I believe I'm writing, Glen's eventual replacement on City, Tim Cocker is still without a gig at the moment with XFM Manchester turning into Radio X. Another possible candidate perhaps. If they did want maybe something fresh or dare I say younger, James Hall from the City 3/Hits Network seems good up and coming talent. Though, not sure where he would fit with Cities demographic at the time.

I would like to see Rossi occasionally still pop up on the main City station in some capacity, would be a shame to see an end to his association with 96.7, perhaps a weekend show of some sort.

City 2 at the moment sounds like it is a station in transition, more mention of telling the audience where Talk is. Perhaps it will take a couple of weeks before the real programming and some inter action with the audience takes place. Brave move to drop Mike Read on weekend breakfast, could this be a place for Kev Seed to return?

Make sure you update it when you find out please, will save me 30 minutes trawling all the individual station sites to find out.

Thank you.

Make sure you let me know who is on Westsound 10-2, it might mean rearranging the family dinner but it'll be worth it. Does Tom Ferrie still do the afternoon show there?

He seems to have swapped to the 2-7 drivetime on Tower the last few weeks. Not sure why.

Someone here has far too much time on his hands.
It's a radio forum, someone is enthusiastic about radio and posts about what will be on the radio on Christmas Day, is there any need for a snide negative comment, even jokingly, should be encouraged not the opposite.
There's lots of interest about what is happening on the TV that day so why not radio?

I found the info useful because saves checking the individual station sites to see what they are doing Christmas Day.

I checked City a couple of years ago and there was a networked Coldplay concert on, it's good to see something a little more special programmed for Christmas, but doesn't seem going by this that anything particularly interesting will be.

I'll wade in by putting what Radio City stations have planned for Christmas Day, I don't actually have time on my hands, because I should be producing all sorts of christmas type content on radio, but it's easier to do this!

Christmas Day

Radio City 1

06.00 Leanne & Dave on Christmas Day
10.00 2 O Clock Anthems (that's what it says!)
11.00 Floorfillers with James Barr (must be networked)
14.00 Ellie Brennan
-- nothing else listed for the rest of the day so must be whatever's on City 1 Network

Radio City 2
06.00 Tom Davies
10.00 Claire Sweeney (she played a role in Brookside!)
11.00 Kim Wilde (sounds interesting)
14.00 Gavin Matthews
18.00 Gina McKie
19.00 Duncan Leven

Radio City Talk

normal Friday schedule listed this'll probably not be what actually goes out!

06.00 Pete Price Bites Back
07.00 Steve Hothersall - The Kick Off
11.00 Mick Coyle - Liverpool Live
15.00 Adam Catterall Full Time
18.30 Radio City Talk Legends Phone-In
19.30 Radio City Talk Extra Time
22.00 Radio City Talk Non Stop Rock

I suspect this will be case with most of the local output from the Bauer networks. Next week would expect Scott Hughes to cover Breakfast on City 1, with Rick Houghton on 2. The drivetime slots will then be covered by other presenters from the Bauer network.
