Cora is one reason I would watch EE! The show is awful at the moment, however seeing Cora back is brilliant. I believe its a combination of unresolved grief mixed with strong drink which is causing her current health issues as I've witnessed that kind of behaviour first hand. I would love to see Cora come through this & hope this isn't her demise. Ann Mitchell a fantastic actress & deserves to have a storyline at the forefront.

If they bring back Raine Ava or especially Tanya, they're going to make what is already abysmal EE unwatchable.
I have always wanted EastEnders to invest in a character with dementia, a regular character and not just a guest.

Yes, Babe chased after Stan her whole life and never even had a kiss until he died. I don't think she ever had a boyfriend or partner and might be a virgin. I don't see Cora ever living in the Vic. She wouldn't be given a job there in her current state, she would end up terribly pissed behind the bar. I have gone off Babe to be honest as she's such a horrible character. She's more miserable than Carol!

More likely to be dementia like symptoms from excessive alcohol. Which in turn can be reversed if stopped the booze and increased her vitamin B intake.
For hallucatikma to occur, one doesn't need to have Lb dementia. Alzheimer's and vascular dementia can be the cause or a reversible cause of dementia, such as booze.
Brain scans and other test would determine what the hell is going on.
I don't know why, but it seemed to be that she was putting it on !

If it's a irreversible cause then it's progressive and that cannot be slowed down; it's asymptomatic I, e only the symptoms came be treated. Unless, of course, it's reversible and being caused by excessive boozing, hen yes it can be slowed and even reverted back !
I don't think it is dementia. She seemed to be referring to herself in the third person, so it could be a dis-associative mental condition, or maybe even a schizoid state.
Kawasaki dementia caused by alcohol is not reversible, the damage is done. Brain cells do not recover

Ann Mitchell is one of the show's best Actresses and they are dam lucky to have her so let's see Cora at the heart of the action in the Square.

I agree so much with this She has been underrated and underused until now. I'd like her to be the one who, out of the characters who don't know about Bobby, finds out and spills the beans so that Max is released. I'd like her to confront Abi when the truth comes out. Cora needs help right now as she's not functioning and someone needs to help her get a council flat or housing association flat in a small block with a warden.
As she's a pensioner she should be helped. I think she should take priority but that doesn't mean she will

Ann Mitchell does a lot of good work to help people who are less well off, she helps women ex offenders who want to learn acting in London. It really is time she was given a major storyline at the heart of the show and she's acted brilliantly in her recent episodes.

Agreed, I think Cora alongside Dolly Rawlins is one of the best characters Ann has played on TV.
