Costa's ground coffee, sold in supermarkets is lovely in a Cafetier or Moka Pot brew.
The only decent Instant Coffee I like is Carte Noir's Espresso. |

For quickness i presume and convenience. i drink instant at work as it is certainly better than that Nescafe pap that comes out of the machine

For anyone who likes their coffee strength 6 'powerful', I was in Home Bargains yesterday morning (Monday) and without knowing anything about it so on the spur of the moment because it looked classy, got this, Percol Black & Beyond Espresso ground coffee 227g, for £1.49. Best Before Dec 2016. I think it must be new stock because they didn't have it last week.
It says on the bag that it's for both cafetieres & filters and, "...without the harsh after taste that's often associated with espressos". When I got home I checked to see if it was a good buy or a goodbye and the reviews if any. Fortunately it is a bargain and the reviews aren't bad (4 out of 5 on average). I haven't tried it yet though as I've got another ground coffee on the go. |

It's not really if you use one them one cup filters though. Instant probably saves 20 seconds of actual work

Currently enjoying some Dallmayr Prodomo Decaf filter coffee I brought back from Germany. Used to drink Douwe Egberts but their ground coffee has really gone downhill in recent years. Don"t drink instant coffee as it's shit.

Douwe Egberts Medium Roast.
But I don't drink coffee for the taste, only for the caffeine boost. I prefer tea. |

I have made the move to ground coffee, previously been purely an instant drinker. Brought myself a small Cafetiere and some Lavazza Decaffienato Ground Coffee, and I must say that it makes a lovely strong tasting coffee
. Can anyone recommend any other good brands of decaf ground coffee?

I get my coffee beans from Brown Bear or a local coffee shop that roasts its own
For instant coffee I use a Tassimo machine with various coffee disks depending on mood. |

I've heard that the Nescafe Alta Rica Decaf is quite nice.
So thank you.
