I'm sure this has been covered on here already, so I apologise if it's going over old ground. I just find it bizarre that no-one in either the Branning, or Beale families, have bothered to tell the daughter of the man charged with the murder, or the brother of the victim what's going on.

They can get round that quite easy, we know they left and moved all the way to the other side of the world but perhaps they moved and are much closer to home than we think

It's possible she has been told but can't fly because of how far gone she is, or she hasn't been told and is being fob off with Max is away, as far as we know the only one who knew she was pregnant is Max, Jac Jossa is or was back filming recently so I think she might find out soon enough and possibly be back for Max's trial as I think it all connects to both Max and Carol leaving, it's possible trial is in Sept or end of, if we all so go by Ian trying to top himself soon.

Well no it makes it easier for them that Lauren is so far away and heavily pregnant, if they had only moved to Birmingham then Lauren would have no excuse to not return home. DTC would have planned this when they sent Lauren with Peter that far away. I cannot believe that Lauren won't already know though (even if we aren't gonna see her reaction yet), I could understand Abi not saying anything considering it was her that went to the police in the first place but Tanya would be in contact with Lauren and in this day and age Lauren and Peter would be using social media and talking to there friends like Whitney and Fatboy. How they explain Peter's absence will be interesting.

Would she even have to travel back to the UK to tell the truth to the police? If you can give evidence in court via Skype nowadays, you could do the same pre-trial surely?

Maybe Ian & Jane deliberately haven't told them as they know that Lauren knows it was one of them & would come back to clear Max's name. But they would also have to make sure Tanya, Abi or no one else told her. Perhaps they have been convinced not to worry or stress her out whilst she's pregnant & someone will till her after she's given birth.

Or maybe with the forensic evidence against Max, Ian & Jane been able to plant enough doubt in their minds (or at least Lauren's) to make them unsure about what really did happen. She never had any actual proof, just Emma's note about the Beale's house being the crime scene. Emma might have been wrong with her theory, or might have suspected Max & being desperately trying to persuade herself he wasn't guilty by coming up with other crazy theories.

Or maybe Lauren just doesn't care - the rest if his family don't!!

Can't wait for Lauren to return. I'm wondering what her reaction will be when she finds out that abi and carol have turned their backs on him. I just don't understand how carol cān think he's capable of murder. She knows him better than anyone so should know Max is a shouter, he has a lot of front but nothing to back it up which is probably reason he got battered. We've seen it many times. When it comes to fighting he's not that tough.

Jake Wood said he filmed 987 episodes and next Monday (17th August) is his 985th episode and he isn't credited for the rest of that week. He'll therefore have 2 more episodes left which will probably be the murder trial.

I am hoping that Lauren returns soon and hopefully Max gets free and decides to leave Walford for a while since he can't take people staring at him and thinking he's a killer (I'd prefer this exit to him rotting in jail for a year offscreen).

I would of thought if anyone would realistically come back and help max out, it would be Jack. But Scott Maslen has confirmed he has no plans in returning and even passed on returning for a small stint.

One thing I don't want to see is Lauren finding out and keeping quiet like Liam has done because that would ridiculous.

Unless she already knows. Can't remember if she found out or not.

2 episodes after the fully live episode Peter and Lauren went to Lucy's grave and Peter told Lauren what happened to Lucy. (It showed him telling her with no audio since at the time of filming not many people knew who killed her). They then both left Walford together. But last Monday Ian said that the only people who knew who killed Lucy were the Beales (before Liam found out) which probably means that no one knows that Peter told Lauren.

I agree that Lauren shouldn't keep quiet like Liam especially considering Max is her dad.

If she knows then even though it's Peter's brother there is no way she would let Max take the blame. Since this storyline doesn't look like its will end I wonder how they're gonna keep it going when she returns?

To be honest I was sick if it after 6 months. Couldn't believe they added a twist to carry it on. Should of ended at Christmas. Now characters are being destroyed every day because of this. Only thing worse would be Kathy finding out and also keeping quiet. I still think if/when it does end Jane will take the blame for it.

I reckon Lauren will be back very soon.
The character is heavily pregnant I'd imagine, so can't fly.

I find it odd though that nobody has mentioned that Lauren knows. Didn't Lauren send a card on the day of Ian and Jane's wedding with "I know what happened to Lucy" on it.

Or did they know that was from Lauren? I'm starting to forget details of this story it's gone on that long and so much has happened.

Abi briefly remembered that she has a sister the other day but only to mention that Lauren was always the favourite.

Albert Square seems to exist in some weird pocket universe at the moment, and as soon as they leave you forgot everything you know, and all family members, are mostly erased from time and loose the ability the communicate with anyone else. A rule they also seem to be trying to apply to Cindy and Liam, and is presumably the same reason that stops Jane from simply phoning Tanya to tell her that her mum is hanging out at the allotments and seems to be acting 'a little strangely'.

Oh yes, I remember that now, Abi was always the favourite though, "Abi get the door"
