It's like an obsession with hey, it's almost like she treats roxy like a baby...

God knows, I don't know why she bothers with her at all, all she does is sleep with her husbands.

They are as bad as each other - Roxy, a grown woman with a young child who can't seem to live without her sister.

I usually get annoyed by her over protectiveness, but I can understand it when Roxy gets involved with people like Carl White or Dean Wicks.
Roxy is really not that much better than Kat Slater in terms of sharing herself around the men of Walford. Only difference is that she comes from a richer family. That said Ronnie needs to be her own woman, spend more time with her baby and let Roxy fight her own battles. At least she's now earning a small wage working for Masood instead of scrounging from her family. |

Because they haven't a clue of what to do with her character these days.

It stems from the days when Glenda abandoned them. Ronnie was like Roxy's mother who had vowed to herself to protect Roxy from their rapist father, unbeknown to Roxy who was oblivious to the abuse. It was probably Roxy who gave Ronnie a purpose to live and keep going. Ronnie explained it in one of the episodes of the rape reveal that when Archie was abusing her, she vowed that she would never let anything happen to Roxy, she would make sure that she would protect her.
Of course at the moment is because DTC and his team appear to be completely drained of ideas and are repeating the same stories with Ronnie and Roxy. |

They're very co-dependent, Roxy allows it and I think actually likes having Ronnie act like her mother and Ronnie seems to be turning into her father more and more hence the control freak element to her personality.

Ronnie is damaged and unstable but she's always got a point when it comes to Roxy needing protecting.

It annoys me how they throw in a storyline like Roxy shagging Charlie and then almost immediately revert back to the big sister protecting the little sister routine.
It's time to actually develop the dynamic between them and allow the terrible relationship between the pair of them play out properly. |

I just find it tiresome now. It's like a never ending circle sometimes in EastEnders. Why do they think we will be interested in the characters acting the situations over and over again.
