By "voice" I mean the instrument she is known for. If you just listen to the song.

i know.

but you fans of must recognise that there are a lot of people who dislike her 'instrument', so will not get the same 'enjoyment' from the song that those of you who do like her 'instrument' will.

She isnt the queen of any sort of writing!! A lot of her songs have a team of 3, 4 and even 5 or 6 writers credited to each song. How much input she puts in to each song to get a writing credit is highly questionable

I'm sorry but that's simply not true. When you look at a song like Fantasy, Honey, The Roof, Heartbreaker which have the most credits, that is because she credits for the sample. The vast majority of her songs are her + 1 other person.

When you look at her biggest hit singles (her 18 #1 singles), here are the credits

Put in a spoiler because of the length. If you look at We Belong Together for example, Womack, Moten and Sully got a writing credit because Carey used the line "If You Think You're Lonely Now" from Womack's song.
