The weather woman off BBC Breakfast TV.

I thought she was older than 53 though. I thought she was about 60.

I wonder who she'll be partnered with?

I never watch breakfast tv so don't know her, recognise her face though and going by comments think she might be Anton's partner this year.

The comments are not justified.

She is a slim good looking woman in her early 50s.
She has a great cheery personality and does more than present the weather nowadays on the beeb.

She looks great for her age, not that age should even matter. She's a pretty woman with lots of fans.

Sadly, I am not one of them because I cannot bear her voice. She even makes a Scottish accent (which I usually love) sound really, really irritating. I always mute her.

She should get Anton.

And you berate others for judging people before seeing them dance. You should stay in the mean girls thread.

So that means we've definitely got "It's Raining Men" and "Walking On Sunshine" to look forward to...

Don't so silly. I was talking about her voice not judging her. And I am not a girl.

Get over yourself.

Oh no. I think you're absolutely right.

They'll do a Cha Cha to Raining Men - if she gets that far, Not convinced she'll be a great dancer, but you never know

What about a Charleston to 'John Kettley is a Weatherman'? They could change the 'and so is Wincey Willis' line to fit and everything

Haven't a clue who she is.

Suspect we might get B'Witched's 'Blame It On The Weatherman' too.

I expect we might get some really subtle jokes in there as well.

"Let's hope Craig doesn't rain on her parade or give her a frosty reception!", "Carol will be the first to tell you, it's snow joke appearing on Strictly!"

haha, that is slightly pathetic, back in time to schooldays, tell me Miss do we get detention if we play outside the 'mean girls' thread.

She seems a nice enough person and well-known on BBC TV, but I'd never consider her physicality suited to ballroom dancing. But I guess you could say that about a lot of people who have been contestants.

I don't know her , but she sounds just fine for Strictly .
People need to get real . We can't have George Clooney and Angelina Jolie , so we need to make do with what the producers can access . I'm happy to give everyone a fair crack of the whip . Even though I might dislike someone in the first week they can turn things round a week later .I'm fickle but fair .

Me neither - but her sunny, (no pun intended!) easy-going personality and full appreeciation of having been selected will win through a keep her in a good few weeks regardless. Of those announced, she'll be "The People's Champion".

Personally, I've wanted her to do Strictly forever!

I don't find she has much of a personality tbh, she's very pleasant etc but she doesn't come across as someone who has her own opinion on anything, but merely enthusiastically agrees with whoever she's speaking to.
