When I connect my "INDO PAK HD TV" app. on my iPad to the TV via an HDMI cable, it appears Vertically instead of Horizontally on the TV. How can I fix this problem?

Perhaps a silly question but I assume tablet is landscape mode when you are connecting?

Checked the INDO PAK reviews & it appears the resolution will not allow normal viewing on the tv. Until it's upgraded to do so and or casting is included, viewing will only be possible on the iPad. Thanks for all your replies.

The problem is the app, not the connection.

You can get a Pipo X8 for about the same price. The difference is that is is really useful.
