That's what the Beeb need to do.£15 to £25m I think might get them to return. The whole Michelle - Grant - Sharon- Kathy thing needs to be the BIG BUZZ for 2016.
But first get Mark Fowler Jr to roll into the Square.

The BBC can't splash out like that sadly.

Susan Tully won't return. She has had many offers but doesn't act any longer

Ross Kemp has said many times he'd love to return and was gutted he couldn't attend the 30th LIVE week as he was away filming.

Given that the entire annual budget for EE is not much more than 30 Million, that is hardly likely is it. What would they pay the rest of the cast and crew with? Not to mention buy and maintain cameras' lighting equipment, wardrone, repaint sets, make repairs and a hundred and one other things i'm sure are involved with making a tv drama.

Not to mention are Ross Kemp and Susan Tully that good actors to warrant such a high salary anyway?

Crikey we'd be left watching Kathy, Gavin, Grant and Michelle all the cast would be axed.

the house of commons in uproar over the voice... can you imagine if the bbc tried to pay that?

plus it would set a precedent and would lead to the end of free tv

That Cameron moron stated on The News the BBC without shows like EastEnders would be nothing.
EastEnders is 100% safe that much is clear. The reason The Voice UK is being mentioned
is because it costs the BBC a lot of money and it's not even a homegrown British show.

What the BBC saves on the Voice they could make more British dramas, comedy and Entertainment shows.

I like The Voice UK though

Just in time to come into EE as Gavin's Welsh cousin Dafyd Sullivan. Carol can throw her knickers at him.

Susan Tully has given up acting and now works as a director. Even if she was still acting she'd be under no obligation to return.

With Ross it's more of a schedule issue (according to him) but he hasn't done any acting for years either.

I like both their characters and would love to see the Mark Jnr storyline resolved but I don't think either are worth £15m.

No way. I don't the TV License being splashed out like that. Ross Kemp will be back at some stage imo, probably for a short stint.

No they weren't. They were good but not outstanding. Plus, when the last time either of them acted? About 10 years for Kemp, 20 for Tully? What's to say they still have it? I'm not even sure Taylforth does given her work on Hollyoaks and her EE cameos.

DTC said he was planning on getting Grant back for Live Week but Ross Kemp was busy. If Grant WAS free then would that mean he would have come with Peggy and at the same time know that Kathy is alive (since all of Peggy and Phil's scenes were talking about Kathy without directly mentioning her name)?

It would be interesting if Grant knows about Kathy offscreen and could make a return but obviously Ross Kemp may not be able to be free at the moment.

And most of the writers, film crew, they'd have to wear the same outfit day in and day out, do their own make up, write their own press releases.....

eastenders wouldnt be safe long paying actors £15m each tho!

that was my point if the voice can cause so much outrage, EE paying those kind of wages would be worse
