Great EE tonight
Really good this summer!
Tonight seeing gillian and Steve acting together again was electrifying. The cokers scenes were brilliant as well. And even letitia and laurie were good topnotch |

I enjoyed it too. Every scene had tension.
I particularly liked the scenes with Carol and Pam. I wasn't aware they were friends, but it was very well acted. |

100% agree! The focus on three storylines with a small range of characters was extremely well done. Even the secondary Coker plot served a good purpose. Not so much for Les, but Carol's involvement gave it a boost. Such a shame Lindsey is quitting the role.

Very well-played out episode. The flick between the Who Killed Lucy?, Kathy's return and Les' 'affair' storylines.

Very very good acting tonight, Gillian really surprised me, Lin was superb and Laurie's descent to utter despair brilliant - it felt like a true eastenders ep, 2 or 3 storylines going on but good drama and tension throughout

While nothing incredibly significant happened tonight (I do include the Bobby/Sharon reveal because I didn't find it as shocking as I probably should have) the acting was so on point that just that made this one of my most favourite episodes. The Phil/Kathy then later Phil/Kathy/Ben scene was electrifying. The acting and directing and writing was incredible. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed watching a Phil-dominant scene so much. He was incredible. That moment between Kathy and Ben had shivers run down my spine, as they have done just now while I've been remembering the feeling. I don't think I've ever watched an episode of EE twice in the same week, but I will do with today's episode purely for these scenes. I only started watching in '04 or '05 so I missed the Kathy period so I haven't been as excited as many have been, but after seeing the chemistry between her and Phil I'm actually looking forward to her comeback. I enjoy watching threatening Phil when he's being objective and protective.
As for Pam and Les, I'm so disappointed we didn't find out the secret. I'm not a patient person, especially when it comes to secrets and reveals like this. Today's episode just proves that Les is hiding something huge. I just wish we'd find out what it is sooner rather than later! And about Jane/Sharon, it's interesting that they're trying to bring out a relationship between them. I miss the Jane/Tanya relationship so hopefully this does some justice. Hopefully it'll be interesting seeing where the reveal leads. I never expected Sharon to be the next to find out, but at the same time it doesn't faze me because so what? They're already bringing out the mother card as they do with Sharon so that was expected. I honestly thought Jane would have told Core the other day. I think that would have made a more interesting twist. |

It's funny how EastEnders can become quite tiresome, but at the point where you are ready to give up, it pulls you back in.
Last night and tonights episodes were fabulous. Lots of drama. It's so amazing seeing Gillian Tayleforth back in Walford, as Kathy Richards nae Beale. The story is very intriguing and I'm dying to know more. They have teased the life out of us with this once since live week. The scene with Ben on one side of the door and Kathy on the other, I watched with baited breath. Meanwhile, Sharon now knows the truth of who Killed Lucy. This is a great twist and I'm glad they held it back. I can't wait to see the next couple of episodes. This is the beginning of a really great autumn I think for EastEnders. |

I thought it was brilliant!
It was nice to see Phil at the end have some sympathy, but also to see that Phil isn't keeping her a secret just to be selfish but because whatever mess Kathy and Gavin are in he feels that at the moment Ben and Ian can't have their mother back properly. I get the impression, that it's because of something Kathy did as to why they had to fake their deaths? Could be wrong! |

I thought it was one the best written episodes I have seen this year. Then i saw who wrote it and i knew why. I always enjoy Leo Richardson's scripts and a few times a year, he comes out of hiding and always knocks me back.
Each story flowed well and there was not one weak perforamnce from all the actors involved. My main highlight was the Pam and Carol scene and it reminded me how much I am really going to miss Carol and I might be stupid enough to shed a tear when she leaves. She is really one of my all time fav characters. I loved having Sharon become apart of the Lucy saga and I think including her makes a lot of sense because of her heavy association with the beales. |

I enjoyed it. The writer was very good. Even Pam was ok with Carol. Any episode with Sharon being Sharonis a great episode for me!
