I was turned right off before he even danced, by the hideous make up and costume. It hid so much...good or bad. It also hid his expression, which is so important in that dance. As for the boots, they were made for clumping. I defy anyone to have exhibited extreme passion wearing that clobber.

I would far rather have seen a more classic type paso doble, matador or some such. At least then we could have seen how good/bad he was. I just felt that Peter was an extra prop to enhance Janette. Then to be followed by Jay.....Oy vey!

The costume department really took the p**s...he looked dreadful and his performance really was'nt anything special. In fact it was rotten

Two weeks in a row it's been less like dance and more like dressage. Ridiculously overmarked in both dances too!

Stompy footwork, over exaggerated jerky arm movements, and just at best a mediocre performance. Marking is way too generous.

I like him too, and he isn't using any kids or wife or tears, so I have to endorse what you say.

I agree totally. I don't understand why the judges rate him so highly. Especially Len. With most of the others he goes on about technique, but not with Peter. He only ever mentions the entertainment value...

I realised long ago that you can't argue with a closed mind.

Seems to me every year Len has his favourite and one he dislikes, the favoured one can do no wrong and the disliked one can't do anything right.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to dress Peter up in that ridiculous costume needs a reality check imo, was like a pantomime costume, way OTT.
