The best I can say about Andre as a personality is that he's not quite as awful as the truly gruesome Mark Wright, although just as vain, vapid and needy.

Quite. Strictly is the only reality show that has managed to actually keep the quality of celebrities up. Most just have a merry go round of the same folks. As far as I know Peter has not done any of these type of shows since IAC over a decade ago.

Anyway on the positive front KP will be spitting feathers that PA has managed to land the biggest show on TV at present......unless of course they've signed her too.

I did have the horrible thought that maybe they'd signed KP too and would be revealing her last of all "Strickly - this time it's personal"

She's pregnant apparently - so we're safe from her for this year at least. However, her mate Michelle Heaton has been heavily rumoured - she's denied it, but I've got a feeling they might have signed her - and if that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if Price worms her way into a few of her VTs.

Strictly would never sign Katie Price. Peter has only been signed years after getting away from her.

Actually I did Google to check and apparently she isn't pregnant, so I got it wrong, I think it was just a rumour - I think she's recently had a baby though, I can't keep up with her tbh, generally I try avoid articles about her, I find her the most obnoxious character - Price is someone who really would raise my blood pressure if she did strictly!

I thought that. It wasn't long ago she was going to dump her husband for having an affair. Still all good publicity I suppose.

I would like to think SCD wouldn't stoop that low and would try to preserve it's for the whole family ethos but you just never know where ratings are concerned do you? In it's desperation to take out a revamped X Factor? I have to say if I was PA I would have a clause in every contract I ever sign stipulating it as null & void is they do try to bring her in alongside him as a ratings grab.

And as for Michelle Heaton if she appears dragging her sorry old carcass onto the show, desperately self promoting and revealing more sob stories ad nauseaum I think I would consider turning off too. As it is I know more about her and her kids medical history than I do my own.......and I don't buy OK or watch Lorraine.

I'm not really someone who likes Peter Andre and dreading him telling us all repeatedly how he loves his kids and is doing for his kids etc, but there are people I've disliked a lot more in the past who have won me over (Caroline Flack) and others I thought I'd love and turned out really disliking (Chris Hollins).

I've just realised why KP and PA would not both get signed......it's a live show and The BBC just couldn't take the risk of her mouth running off with her. Can you imagine her in the Tesspit haranguing Pete over some perceived misdemeaour over arrangements with the kids on live TV. It would be the equivalent of bumping into an ex in the Supermrkwt after a really messy divorce. She wouldn't be able to help herself. She has no filter on her mouth.

I don't think we will ever see Katie Price/Andre/Reid/Hayler. She's just not family friendly enough (being a former topless model) or classy enough. She's a great example of money not being able to buy class.

I really don't think they would. Apart from anything else, it would be really unfair on the other contestants, having to play second fiddle to that stale old tabloid mess.

Because I find him THAT annoying it's quite possible for one person to ruin my enjoyment of a show. Sorry to anyone who likes him but to me he's such a phony, desperate sleaze.

A lot of other negatives could justifiably be thrown his way, nauseating, cheesy etc... but sleaze....

My heart sank a little when I read this today, I have to admit.

It won't be enough to put me off watching, but I will secretly be hoping he's voted off early on

She was like that on CBB , no filter on her mouth .
I said I wouldn't be judgemental about contestants but I draw the line at someone spouting endless sexual drivel about the kinky sex habits of her multitude of exes .
I don't mind Peter Andre at all and he should manage a few weeks at least .
