As an expert on my posting on DS, will you be following my every post and utterance, looking for ammunition to use against me?

And I have been on DS for 10 years, and talking about zelebs and media whores for all that time.

Anyway, I don't like anything about Peter Andre but I'm still quite interested in seeing how he does, and if he can dance. And if he can, and does well, then as far as I'm concerned, it's a good thing and just adds to the show. It won't make me like him, but I'll still be able to appreciate his dance abilities if he turns out to have any.”

I suspect that even if he scores top marks week on week and wins the show it will take a lot of persuading for some of his more avid detractors to admit he can dance. We shall see........

I think that says more about you than it does about those who watch the show, which, for the most part, based on this forum, are people who just want to see people dancing well.

Let it go, this detractor shit is boring.

Well said. It's passive aggressive nonsense.

I am looking forward to him making me laugh. If he turns out to be good, I am unlikely to vote for him, but I am very able to acknowledge that someone I dislike as a person completes a dance well...see Mark Wright last year!

Do you have to be the best dancer to win Strictly? If so, Chris Hollins thanks you

I find PA hilarious. I will be watching because Strictly is one of my favourite shows and I have my 'I survived Widdy, this is a piece of cake' t-shirt printed and ready to go.

I have my 'I have survived Mark Wright without breaking my telly' so I'm also good with the very likely torturous but hugely entertaining cheesfest that is PA and Dancy O'Donnell.

Are the good people of Malta allowed to vote? They might champion their "Cultural Ambassador".

Did he ever visit again?

Widdy and Mark Wright? Pah!
I've survived both of them, plus Carol Vorderman, bloody Lulu and worst of all, Anton du Beek.
As if the sight of him in a kilt wasn't bad enough, I also unfortunately remember the time he sadly misjudged the tightness of his slacks and the excitement level of the evening and introduced the viewing public to his trouser snake.
The Peter Andre / Daniel O'Donnell dad danceathon will be a sight to behold. Hopefully in a good, non-trouser snakey way.

Peter Andre was the one celeb that, I REALLY didn't want to do the show. Hopefully, the show won't revolve around him. I briefly considered not watching the show because of him, but I won't let him, ruin it for me.”

I keep hearing people say that Peter is the only real celebrity on Strictly Come Dancing this year, that rarefied status alone should get him into the final londongirl.

I somewhat agree with you TerryM22

I think he's the most celebrity celeb for a variety of reasons and he may get to the final. Its certainly Janette's best chance so far and I find her very likeable as a person.

Not only is Peter the only A list celebrity on the show he also seems like a very nice man and a great dad to, there is not really anything to reasonably dislike about him so he may well appeal to the many floating voters that watch Strictly Come Dancing as well as his already huge fan base.

How is he A-list? With one hit 20 years ago? And with his agent control every PR about himself.

I am happy it will be live

I'm not a fan of his, I don't hate him, just dislike him but I dislike Simon Cowell more. It won't put me off watching SCD, I think he'll be quite comical and he has to stay in long enough to do the Paso Doble

I can't see over protective Auntie Claire being content with sitting with the punters in the audience. She'll be in the Tess Pit ready to mop his sweaty brow. It made me chuckle on his reality show when she was pacing up and down on the set of the Makeover show because he was late. She reminds me of Gladys Emanuel

Seriously Goaty, step away from the wind-up merchant - that was not even subtle!
