Maybe because when I sit down after a busy week on a Saturday evening I do it to relax not be driven to violence by being irritated by one of the contestants. I'm hoping he leaves before the last couple of weeks so I can watch the final or as suggested I will watch it on catch up and fast forward past him - good idea Scout2006

Rather an over dramatic response to a bloke dancing on a silly Saturday night tv show.

I agree . All of the contestants are doing it to get seen or raise their profile in certain areas they'd not normally venture into .It's very odd for sure . I dislike Jamelia but damned if I'd allow that dislike to impact on watching the show . I won't even FF past her dances as that would be just silly . You can't judge a dance show from just watching those you like , and I'm hoping Jamelia turns me round .

Quite. There is nobody who bothers me this year. Don't watch Loose Women so the Jamelia stuff means nothing to me. Last year that DJ with Joanne got irritating after a while but I just ignored it as there was so much good dancing to focus on.

Wow . I can't say anyone on any show ever has ever, or would ever drive me to violence . Whatever floats your boat I suppose , but you'll be FF a lot and for some time I think if his moves tonight are anything to go on .

At least he's somebody good to watch in the first half of the show as the deadwood gets picked off. I know he's a modern 'celebrity' media whore, but rather him than his ex. He comes across ok, and can certainly move.

I think Peter is a lovely guy and I am sure he will be a brilliant dancer. Go Peter your chance to shine my love. Haters gonna hate xxxxx

I have a feeling that he will win, Darcy has already mentioned about having a male winner this year.

I can see why Peter could be annoying, but I like the fact that he'd be the first to agree! I find him impossible to dislike though and early signs are that he's a bit of a natural on the dance floor! So, yeah - come on three weeks.... can't wait to watch/see how far he gets!

Surely you jest? Even his most loyal & ardent fans couldn't, in all honesty describe Peter Andre as an A list celebrity.

Well I like him and I am excited to see how he gets on you. You could see from the group dance that he certainly has a flair, and will possibly be better at Latin, but that will be part of his journey . Despite there being people in past years that I wasn't particularly fond of I have never allowed that to spoil the series for me but looking at the line up I think it could be a great series. I am massive fan of SCD and will continue to be so. 25/9 can't come quickly enough for me

I too have my suspicions he might win. He's a good dancer by the looks of it, although, like many others here I find him spectacularly annoying.

I don't follow celebrities at all and the only time I really encounter people like Peter Andre is when he pops up on TV shows I might be watching. The last time I recall seeing him was on that home makeover show he did and he came across really well on it. He was very down to earth and seemed genuinely warm and kind hearted.

Now I know that's not necessarily the "real" Peter Andre but I can only comment on what I saw. If he put it on for the camera he was very convincing!

Peter is doin' OK so far.

Maybe hasn't got the most experienced pro, but she and he will probably get along well and I can see them getting to the final 5 at least.
