Peter looks really enthusiastic but he'll be a boring winner because it just looks really obvious. Take him out of the equation and it could be anyone's.

I don't consider myself to be jaded or a "hater" just someone who has an aversion to Peter Andre, so I'm afraid, no, I don't consider him to be a nice man but I do find him to be an obnoxious man.

Peter makes my skin crawl. I can't stand him! He comes across as completely vain and a master manipulator. I wouldn't like to be the girl who partners him. He's a real sleaze ball. He only married Kate Price as a way of increasing his dwindling profile. If i was a woman i wouldn't want him to come near me. There is something very unsavoury about him.

Neither do I, but I agree with you. I have always found him a bit too confident and very wooden when he presented 60-Minute Makeover. I hate it when someone is 'the bookies' favourite'.

I think there could be other contenders though. Would love an older person to win - like Ainsley or Katie (but with Anton I don't think that possible). I did like Jamelia and I think both Iwan and Kirsty Gallagher may be good - at least they will have a good work ethic.

Love him and he may be the best contestant they have ever had. He can lose the bad jokes though!

I was very impressed with his dancing which is all I'm interested in. Hope he dosn't peak too soon though. I am definitely not a Jamelia fan but i was very impressed with her too. I hope they both make the final if they keep up those standards and don't do or say anything too outrageous or offensive.

I know nothing about dancing really but for some reason when I watched Jamelia I got the impression she would do best at the Latin dances.

Is he cheesy ? Yes.
Is he a dad? Yes .
Who cares , the point is that he danced well and has had positive comments from loads of people connected to the show, both pros and other celebs, so he can't be that unlikeable .
He seems keen and I look forward to watching him progress .

What I cannot stand about Peter Andre is that he comes out with all this faux sincerity and prattles on about what an 'honour' it is to be on the show etc etc etc with all the conviction of an automatic recording.

He then appears on the Strictly stage with ZERO humility, cocky and smarmy and playing up to the cameras.

He may be in with a chance of winning due to the fact he's used to performing in front of an audience but likeable? He is NOT.

I think we must have been watching a different programme. No way was he anything like that.
