Which brand of beans has the most in a standard sized tin? I don't mean weight, that can be bulked out with sauce. I want to know which brand has the most actual beans in a can. It's important because I'm having friends coming for a meal, and I want to make sure they don't think I'm being a cheapskate when I serve them beans on grilled flour platter. I don't want to buy two tins. Please advise.

I would say Branston Baked Beans which are my preferred choice of tinned beans
Hope it all goes well

How many beans are in a tin of Branston Baked Beans? We need to get the numbers together so we can compare. This must be done properly, for the sake of proper research and all that.

I recommend gloves.

I presume there is a reason behind this thread. Care to enlighten us?

Branson are my preferred baked beans as the sauce tastes much better than Heinz. I think there are around 867 in a tin but I could be wrong

I think you have massively overestimated the number of beans in a tin, please take the time to don the marigolds.

Just a bit of daft light-heartedness, is that a crime? It's not like the thread is targeting or making fun of anyone, and there's not much chance of anyone falling out about any of it, unless someone is extremely sensitive about their chosen brand of bean.

Strangely, had some Morrisons "nume" beans, very good, more beans compared to Heinz

I rarely eat food of this nature, but my understanding is that it's always best to go for a leading brand such as Corale, available only from Aldi.

Don't go for broad beans whatever you do. There only about 12 in a tin of those.
