Beyonce - Album 6 - What Next?
I'm really excited about her next album and have no idea what she will do with it. Her first album had a fantastic rnb sound, second album BDay was more up tempo and had a live instrument feel, with album three she did the Sasha Fierce alter ago thing. With album four she went for an old school throwback sound, and with her most recent album she was full on rnb and a lot more sexier. I think she'll go a for a bit of a rockier sound, which I would love. Maybe explore the old school sound she had on 4 a bit more, but move it into a slight rocky sounding direction.

I have all of her albums apart from 4. I don't listen to her very often but I do enjoy her music sometimes.
I quite like her most recent album and normally that's the sort of music that I'd turn off instantly. I wonder if she'll go for a traditional release or whether she'll just release it without any obvious promotion? |

I really have no idea where she will go next. Perhaps she will do a bit more of her "rapping" in the next album? As a few of the songs in her most recent album arent really her singing, but more rapping. (Drunk in Love, Flawless, Yonce)
Although I dont really like her much as a person anymore (she has changed the last few years) I still love her music and all her albums are amazing! I saw her in concert and it was without a doubt the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Is she already working onh er next album? |

I wouldn't mind a more "End Of Time" sounding album. One of my favourites from her and she really suits that sound.
I hope she has a big ballad on her next album. There been pictures of her apparently leave / going to recording studios so I wonder if she's working on it? |

I have read in numerous places that Beyonce and Jay-Z are working on a joint album at the moment. I would have thought Beyonce fans would already know this. It will probably be called 'The Carters' or something just as cheesy. To be released exclusively on tidal in 2015. (flop).

I don't know what it is but her performances leave me cold. I've only ever seen TV performances though.
A friend of mine saw her live and said that she was fantastic though. ![]() On topic, I'm not so sure where I'd like her to go next. If there was an album of 'Love On Top' style songs I'd very much enjoy that as it was the last single of hers I really liked. |

I personally would like more of her early stuff. I didn't like the last album at all. I kind of feel like she's got to a point where she thinks she's too good for the commercial radio friendly sound now. I just want more songs like Crazy In Love, Best Thing I Never Had, Sweet Dreams etc

The Beyonce songs I've liked the most throughout her career have been the more radio friendly songs. For me, her best era in terms of songs that I liked the most was I Am...Sasha Fierce with songs like Halo, Sweet Dreams, Single Ladies etc...all very different in their own way but made for a fantastic run of hit singles. Crazy In Love always seemed like a fluke for me as there wasn't anything else from Dangerously In Love that really appealed to me. 4 felt like the natural follow up - mostly underground RnB songs and token radio staple Best Thing I Never Had which again was the only song from that album I really liked. If 7/11 was anything to go off, then I doubt I'll find myself enjoying whatever Beyonce releases next. |

I'd love a proper pop album from her, just because we've never really had one.

i really think she would suit a rock sound, with urban influences.
though ill probably be happy with whatever she releases i like all her albums, however i hope its a little less like the latest one. |

I know it's a different song but "End Of Time" made me think of the Justin Timberlake collab in 07. If she was going down the collab album route, I would be very happy to see one with JT. And a tour with those two would be amazing.

I thought the same thing the other day. I think a live concert of those two could potentially be the best night of my life.

I did a setlist of a tour from Beyoncé, Justin and Jay-Z on a thread here once. Would be really cool.

![]() Feeling really deprived of new music from all three at the moment. A collab album/tour would be just what the Doctor ordered. |
