Sneaky Pete (Amazon Pilot) - Bryan Cranston is back !!
I just noticed a few weeks ago that the Amazon Pilot shows are free to watch. I have no contract with Amazon Prime or anything, so its good to get new stuff thats free.
This new pilot is Sneaky Pete, its about a guy who gets out of Jail and takes. Another guys identity so he can hide from gangsters he owes a hundred grand to. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/new...eaky-pete.html The main character is Ribsi, and he has made a BIG mistake, because the gangster he owes the hundred grand to is badass Bryan Cranston !! Cranston only appears in the last 5 minutes, but its a big buzz to see the great man back! I enjoyed the pilot show, and it is a definite to get made into a series because of the Cranston factor. |

I agree that it's a good pilot and it got me engaged with the characters quickly. Cbs did pass on this series so having Cranston in it, also as creator and exec producer does not guarantee a pickup. Also I would expect Cranston will play a background character who will drive the story along, will come to the fore every so often. However the series needs to stand on its own without him as that's what we will be watching most of the time.
I hope it does get picked up and doesnt become a weekly procedural (cbs territory) as I'm enjoying the shows that are unpredictable and take risks. |

Sounds like a rip-off of Banshee.

I really liked the pilot. It had a 'Monnlighting' feel about it.
Premieres January 13th http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/ne...petes-trailer/ |

He co-created the programme and acts as co-executive producer, but wasn’t originally going to star in it. In fact the original cut of the pilot didn’t feature him. Once CBS passed on the series pickup he was added to the cast list either to entice or at the request of Amazon Studios. Interestingly his fellow co-creator has since left the project, and Graham Yhost (creator of ‘Justified’ and co-executive producer of ‘The Americans’) was brought in to act as show runner and co-executive producer. |
