I'm looking forward to seeing how the newbies get on .
I think by now we all have an idea of the style of teaching the pros use , but the new guys we've yet to assess .Bossy ? Softly softly ? Firm but fair?
I've often wondered how flexible the pros are in tailoring their method of teaching to the celeb . Some might be very dogmatic I think and hard to work with . Well , we'll soon see .

I imagine, from first impressions, that Otile will be a firm but fair task master, Giovanni tough and determined and Gleb more softly softly.

I have a feeling it'll be similar to last year, in the sense that Giovanni and Otlile will return and Gleb will not. He was a bit forgetful on DWTS in the US. I picture Giovanni as the new Artem for some reason

I've never watched DWTS , so I've nothing to go on .
That's what I like about the Strictly threads, they're a good combination of those with great knowledge and those like myself, just non-dancing watchers happy to give a less expert point of view .

In one of his QandAs for his fan site, Tristan said Giovanni was very funny and very Italian. I'm looking forward to making his acquaintance .

Gleb didn't have a long run as pro on DWTS, so it's probably not enough to judge him on, but he was quite sweet with his partner. He did well on the Russian show with a ringery young skater. I think it depends how committed he feels to being on SCD in the longer term, or if he's happy just passin' through...

Otile came across well in the bits of the German show I saw. Good fun, anyway. I haven't seen any training footage but s ome of her choreography was a bit dodgy imo, but perhaps it's what her partner could do.

Can't wait to see them in action.

Oh my..that Gleb chap is absolutely gorgeous, gives the magnificent Aljaz a run for his money.

i went on to his Twitter for the first time today - and was hugely impressed.

As well as being stunningly hot, Aljaz has the added bonus of possessing a wonderful personality. As I do not watch DWTS, I shall reserve judgement on Gleb on that score until Strictly starts.

I know *sigh*...he has it all. Janette is one lucky lassie.xx

Gleb seems like a very nice guy from what I have seen on YouTube! He seems to be very good with his partners

Gleb is a really nice guy ; funny and so good with his celebrities. He is more suited to a show like strictly imo and I think that he will stay. I watch dwts as well so I'm really familiar with his work and his persona outside the show. He did really well on the Russian version a few months ago.
Not familiar with the other 2 pros. , athough I did some research on Otille and I was extremely impressed. I watched some of her dances from her competition days in Germany and South Africa with her partner and she's SO good; plus her resume is quite elaborate.

I'm excited to see how they'll be/do on the show
