Im going to watch this on +1. Is Fame Academy really featured? It wasnt that bad, just overshadowed by Pop Idol at the time.

They just featured one incident on it that was bad they weren't necessarily saying the whole show was bad. However the incident they should have showed was the time Patrick Kielty and Richard Park had a row live on air.

Tom Cruise getting squirted with the water still makes me laugh. "You're a jerk!"

I'm interested to see how they'll handle the Jade Goody/Shilpa Shetty row from Big Brother. I don't imagine they'll be too critical of Jade.

Preston was over 5 years ago, surely. I think the Apple thing may have been too. What's happening there, and it happens to me regularly, is youre starting to feel old.

Surely Richard Blackwood's defining bad TV moment from the last 15 years is nothing to do with him not knowing what a zest of a lemon is but more to do with him having a enema on Celebrity Detox or whatever the show was called

Yes, they were both definitely in the Noughties. Time flies so fast when you start to live for your next payday. When you're a child a year seems like forever

They never said it was. They said they were going to show some events that happened after the noughties to finish the show off with.

I thought that too! And I missed a bit of the show but did they show Big Brother Fight Night? That was pretty huge at the time but I didn't see it on this show.

Yes they did feature that but they did not feature the Jade/Danielle/Jo/Shilpa moment from celeb big bro though

Yes I have absolutely no idea why they didn't show that?
It was a much more significant moment than the one which they did show.

It is very odd. Oh how cringey, her mic failed, thats never happened before. Except that time on the X Factor.

I don't understand how some of the clips they showed were of such poor quality.

What they showed.....

A little bit of Big Brother's 'Fight Night', but not really that much. It was more little bits in the background with a narration over the top. They really didn't do it justice and it was edited so badly anyone who hadn't seen it would think "Was that it?"
You didn't hear anything other than Chicken Stu asking Vic who he is, because of the narration over the top and it was chopped up into tiny bits so there was no drama.

They showed Richard Blackwood thinking he knows how to zest a lemon which produced a very embarrassing segment.

Fame Academy, where Alex Parks' microphone wasn't working, plus an embarrassing bit afterwards where Patrick Kielty and her fail to connect a kiss.

What they didn't show.......

The race row in Celebrity Big Brother.
Made international news. Gordon Brown commented on it, effigies were being burnt in India. Didn't get a mention on this show.

Richard Blackwood self-administering a coffee enema.
I don't need to elaborate any further.

The infamous Patrick Kielty and Richard Park moment in Fame Academy.
Extremely awkward moment on live television with the two descending into a very bitter verbal squabble with each other.

The fact that what they did show was prioritized over what they didn't was almost criminal. I have no idea what was going thought their minds which stopped them. Could they have perhaps failed to get permission to show them?
If they had no good reason then this show is guilty of being bad TV itself.

Overall I enjoyed the show. Despite these errors there was much to enjoy, especially clips from featuring incidents up to around 2002.

As regards Celeb BB and 'Fight Night', these were moments that turned a lot of people off the Bruv, and C5 probably wanted to steer away from showing anything that would leave a bad taste in people's mouths where BB was concerned. Why would they do this? Take a look at your listings and discover what reality series returns to C5 next week...
