Three Hidden delivery cost.
Their website states free delivery yet there is actually a charge of £4.99. I got all the way to the end of the upgrade over the phone to be told about the charge. When i said other phone providers deliver for free the agent said this " Three does not charge for delivery, it's the courier DPD that charges the £4.99 for delivery"
Come again, so there is a delivery charge regardless of what the website says !!!! Surely customers should be made aware of this on their website as it clearly states DPD deliver but just happen to neglect to mention the charge |

When I look at the site it says "Our free delivery service. When you join Three and order any device from us."
http://www.three.co.uk/delivery Maybe only free for new customers and not those taking an upgrade? To be honest how difficult would it be for them to add upgrades would incur a delivery charge of X amount........ Anyway i have / did email them, just awaiting their response. |

I would have said "Oh well, I'll pay DPD when they send me the bill, so don't add it to yours as it's nothing to do with you."
Did they also list the price without VAT and say that it's the Government that charge that, not them? |

Did they also list the price without VAT and say that it's the Government that charge that, not them? The whole point is this is not made known and in my view a hidden charge. The whole pricing method is rubbish. Looking at a £31 pm tariff as shown on the website, i asked for a discount and was told its already discounted as it should be £35 pm and i will see the discounts on my bill. So these are hidden discounts, as far as i am concerned the tariff is £31 not £35 as the discounts are not shown or mentioned. As far as the customer is concerned there is no discount as the tariff is advertised as £31 - its just another joke. Three's pricing is not transparent at all |

From the way i understood it, the delivery cost is added to your bill. Its a joke really, to say they don't charge for delivery is laughable when there clearly is a delivery charge........it doesn't matter who charges it, its a delivery charge and their website makes absolutely no mention of it.

More than likely the person on the 'phone made it up on the spot as it's just such a stupid thing to say to justify a charge.
It may be that ordering online is free, but ordering over the phone isn't. Or as mentioned above, it's only for new customers. These big companies are not very joined up. |

This is why people think Three is naff and won't use them. They don't help themselves sometimes.
