Bonnie Langford
It appears that Bonnie is now a regular, judging by this tweet.

Good. I like her and the character. She's far exceeded my expectations I must be honest.

Good. I actually enjoy her character.
One of the castings I wasn't fussed on but had really worked. Unlike the ones that have all the hype and flop hard. |

I really like Carmel. She has fitted in really well with the Masoods. I like her relationship, with Kush.

Great, love her character, she fits in really well and is a nice warm addition to the cast. Her and Mas will make a good couple in the future I am sure. Shabnam should prob go back to Pakistan tho :/

I adore Carmel, she has slotted in perfectly and I love her relationship with Shabnam. I am glad Bonnie is sticking around.

Like her or loathe her Bonnie is a pro. She's done her time and knows her stuff. She could probably do EE in her sleep and still outshine most of the cast. Let's hope she gets some decent storylines.

Great news! Love Bonnie as Carmel. She has fitted in so well and one of my favorites
In my opinion, she reminds me of Peggy Mitchell/Zainab Masood/Pauline Fowler rolled into 1

Nice! I was afraid her and Kush both would be gone this year with the affair reveal [could, and likely will happen down the line, but for now...]!

Another fan here.
When she first joined the cast I thought yuck! Now I really like her and would miss the character if she left. EE needs more "glass half full" type characters.

It is nice that she's so popular.
I remember when she was in Doctor Who she was pretty much universally disliked. |

has that been explained yet? Now he has moved on and has a new partner, he wants to sell the house to release his equity so that he can buy another property, or utilise the cash elsewhere. She said that he casually mentioned this to Carmel, but the next day, had a ‘For Sale’ sign put up outside and put the place on the market. She won’t be homeless until the house has sold and contracts exchanged which could take months, plus she’ll also be entitled to a share of the cash once sale is completed. Which she will no doubt use to buy a place on the Square? |

Can't stand Bonnie Langford, and the Carmel character is extremely irritating .. she seems totally unable to read the situation whenever she enters a room.
I hope she's only in the series until the wedding's over, which won't come soon enough for me. But then the whole Kush/Shabnam thing is unconvincing anyway .. sub-standard acting and really annoying characters, neither of whom comes across as properly committed to the other, so the whole wedding scenario just seems so false and shallow. |
