Multi-region hack for Alba DVD70S?

We've just been given a DVD player - Alba DVD70S (its the one The Express newspaper gave away 100,000 of).

Been looking to see if it can be modified to be multi-region but drawing pretty much of a blank. If the Express has given away 100,000 of them there will be loads about.

Anyone know where I can find modification details please?

A couple of Alba hacks here - http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/m...ble.asp?Page=3. One of them could well work, give it a go.

i also sent off for that dvd player they were giving away, you wouldn't happen to have the list of lucky winners still? i missed the paper which they were listed in and dont know if im gettting one or not. If you do or know where i could find a list it would be very much appreciated thanks

Sorry no. We didn't enter, my partners mother did and gave it to us. All she got was a letter saying she was one of the lucky ones.
