I hope Kym Valentine (Libby) does return to Karl/Susan, but this time not ruined as we last seen her. We want to see the Libby Kennedy we have all grown and loved.

She is always ill and in soap terms that is very hard to cater for, especially when Libby is the sort of character that gets alot of screen time.

Libby was an awful, sanctimonious bitch.

Towards the last part of her years, all thanks to Susan Bower. The exec who ruined most characters that time.

Maybe Kym Valentine doesn't want to return. Would you want a recast Libby if that was the case?

I remember reading that Kym loves her role and is passionate about the role of Libby. I miss Libby and Susan relationship and their passion in Italian soap operas.

Shes up the duff so unlikely to return anytime soon.

I'm hoping she will return this year towards the end of the year.

Reasons to bring Libby Back:

1. Good Family connection with Karl and Susan
2. Her son Ben is now a part of the show
3. It would be good to see her teaching at the school again
4. It would be interesting to see how her and Steph would be again

Reasons not to Bring Her Back

1. Her character is boring, tedious, dull, irritating, sanctimonious, insipid. In essence her character is as interesting as carpet underlay
2. Her character doesnt seem to add much, this may be down to the scriptwriters but fundementally nothing much happended with her considering how long she was on
3. Kym Valentine tried to sue Neighbours and take them to court, why should they give her the satisfaction of working for them again?

I think Jason Herbison is keen to bring Libby back, but tv way her character is written is down to the way the scriptwriters portray her. I prefer the original writing of Libby. Darren should be considered to return as a three dimensional character.

I don't think there is a real reason/need for Libby to come back. She's a boring character, the last time we saw her she rocked up for 3 weeks to take over as head at the school while Susan was ill. It was a completely boring storyline.

The whole Libby and Steph storyline has been done to death! One minute they are 'bezzy mates', Libby gets a fella, Steph can't keep her Knickers on, Libby starts scriking her eyes out to Susan, has a break down....."I will never forgive her"....then next minute they are bezzies again......... repeat cycle.

I'd rather have new characters.

And as for Kym suing Neighbours a few years back, I thought her bridges were well and truly burnt?

I think its the right time to bring her back with now Ben being on the show.

The reason why her character can be deemed as boring might have something to do with how she is written by the producers.

Would Libby and Gary make a good pairing?

Why is everyone so keen to pair Gary off?

There's the opportunity to see his quirky side too
