I have the Honor 6 Plus and as far as i can remember the sims are a different size, not sure of the protocols each supports, one micro and one nano. If you use the micro as i do then the other takes the memory card. If you go with the nano sim then the other is not usable as a memory card slot. Could be wrong on this so if anyone has more info then please correct.

Overall very happen with the phone itself, i had to go from Windows as i needed a phone that supported PPTP protocols and sadly, Microsoft are doing their level best to piss off Windows/Lumia users by total inaction.

Just received the same email

Somehow I feel conned . When I pre-ordered before the end of August, it said free next day delivery . Now it's 3 weeks

I'm gonna cancel and wait for Nexus. The Chinese have no idea how to take a handset to the UK market

Well if it was highly anticipated as they say in the email, how did they get caught out by demand levels as they must have anticipated such high levels?

Glad I held off now. The Moto x style I think will bey choice as its a decent phone at a decent price.

I think they engineered high demand by creating the cut off date for the voucher (I'm told they'll do them again in the future, but not when or how much) and could have had just 10 phones for all we know.

It's Expansys handling the orders, who I've had mixed experiences with over the years.

I am now about a day away from seeing the new Huawei phone, which will be quite similar to the Honor 7 but with a few extra features. Obviously likely to be quite a bit more expensive, but I wonder if they'll have a similar new online store and a similar offer system?

I didn't release Huawei were using the Expansys partner programme for vmall. Any idea if hihonor.com was also managed the same way?

I have the predecessor Honor 6 and whilst its still a good phone, the update rollout of any new OS leaves a lot to be desired, they have only just released a beta for Android 5.1.1 in the last 6 weeks. I have no doubt Honor 7 will be the same, its a great phone for the price and experience will be comparable to other mid range devices.

Basically don't expect the latest and greatest with this handset, if my own experience is anything to go by you would probably end up waiting 8 months or so till Marshmellow is released to the device......

My own Honor 6 looks as though it won't see an update to Marshmellow, which is a piss take in itself given its less than a year old.

In short great phone, shit OS updates.
