Looks like a November release for the 3rd album.
http://www.billboard.com/articles/ne...m-fall-preview
In Billboard’s new fall preview issue, we take a look at Adele’s highly anticipated new album. Here’s what we know about the long-awaited sequel to 21:

Is the artist behind the biggest album of the 2010’s finally ready to follow it up?

Adele has been teasing the follow-up to her 2011 blockbuster, 21, for more than a year, but a new set of music may finally materialize this fall — the label is planning on a November release, Billboard has learned.

Adele and her team have remained mum since May 2014, when the singer teased an album titled 25 for later in the year, but her label, XL Recordings, subsequently ruled out that timeline.

Danger Mouse has been working on the album, and Max Martin has contributed a single. Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. also has written a (reportedly, standout) track, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder is back in the mix after producing and co-writing “Rumour Has It” on 21.

Adele’s team is remaining mum, as is the London superstar, whose sophomore LP has sold over 11 million copies and was the top-selling album of the year in both 2011 and 2012. In July, Ed Sheeran told the U.K.’s Capital FM, “I haven’t heard [Adele’s album], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently, it’s really good.”

I really do hope the album will be released this year. It's been delayed so many times! Of course, I wouldn't want her to release something that wasn't ready and therefore sub standard but I'm really keen to see where she is musically at this point in her life. It will be fascinating to listen to the album for the first time.

Have to say, even though it's a really short clip, I love it.

I kinda love that little snippet. She's definitely done the job in terms of hype. Airing it with no warning was genius.

It's been a few years and now that voice is back. Love it.

So ready for a new Adele album and a tour to go with it it's been far too long

I wouldn't get too excited about a tour TBH. She didn't like touring BEFORE she settled down and had a child so I can't see her doing much touring now. Plus she's one of the few artists in modern times who doesn't actually NEED to tour to earn mega bucks as her albums sell ridiculous amounts and, I suspect, being a HUGE seller on an indepedent label she gets a very generous cut from sales.

Yep, not only doesn't she need to tour, Adele said a few months ago that her voice is still "fragile" and she'll do a few concerts but she's not going to tour the way most singers do.

It's just been shown again, this time on Channel 4 during Homeland,

That is sheer brilliance.

I think this is what creates buzz, when something happens unannounced and then people are just taken aback and thinking "is that Adele?"

Listening to that clip, I instantly thought it was Adele doing a cover of Lionel Richie's Hello, but then within 4 seconds you realise it's a new song.

If the song is called Hello, It's Me then I shall be keeping my eyes peeled on iTunes as it might be released as a single any time.

Absolutely love the clip so hoping that full song will be just as memorising as those 15 seconds.

In all seriousness though Beyonce proved how effective a surprise release/announcement is. With social media etc news of this kind of thing spreads like wildfire. The snippet aired only a couple of hours ago but EVERYWHERE has picked it up, twitter has gone absolutely ballistic.

I've not seen it aired live yet, is it literally just the snippet playing during the adverts and nothing else? Genius marketing.

I'm expecting to see this or another official single on itunes VERY soon.

Yes, the YT clip I linked to is the whole ad as it aired. You could be right and maybe XL are testing the waters to see if a surprise iTunes release would be the way to go. I think they have had their answer lol - within an hour of the ad, which doesn't even state it is Adele singing, being aired she was the #1 worldwide Twitter trend. I just hope iTunes have beefed up their servers once any release comes to fruition...

Chris Evans strongly hinted that Adele will be on TFI Friday soon as well.

It's done what they wanted, gone viral and sales for 21 and 19 have increased around the world.
The hype is now massive.

Well, it must've cost a fair amount just to broadcast that 30 second snippet. There's no way the record company would splash the cash if they weren't expecting a massive return.

Think it's safe to say once the album is released, Adele might as well make herself comfortable at #1 in the album chart because she's gonna be there for weeks (maybe months, who knows).

The biggest selling album of 2015 so far is Ed Sheehan's X which has sold over 660k in 10 months. Would be exceptional if Adele sold enough to leapfrog everyone and shoot up to #1 in the best sellers list after one week. Doubt she will achieve it as album sales are so poor, but this could be another massive success story on par with 21.

To be honest, Adele could perform on The National Lottery and that programme would probably achieve its highest ever viewing figure since 1994.

I have a gut feeling Adele will be given VIP treatment on X Factor too when the album is released. XL are going to be going all out to ensure this is majorly successful.

That snippet from last night has got the ball rolling (in the deep). **groan**
