It is a new day at
"The Black Dolphin" as pub owner
Simon Fisher sets about opening. His wife
Michelle Fisher is sat at the bar, talking to her sister-in-law - and events planner at the club she owns -
Kim Fisher about a couples' night they are having. Simon's younger brother
Mark Fisher strolls downstairs, ready for work. "Morning!" He smiles. Simon, Michelle and Kim greet him before he leaves, just as their nephew
Danny Fisher enters. "Where'd you get to last night?" Simon asks, and Danny scratches his unshaven face. "Stayed at a mates'," Danny says, and Simon nods, unconvinced.
It is breakfast time at the Carrolls' (number 30 Mitchell Avenue) as grandparents
Tim and
Cheryl Carroll are sat at the kitchen table with heavily pregnant granddaughter
Georgia Carroll. "You and Max were a bit noisy last night," Cheryl states, causing Georgia to frown. "Max? Oh..." Georgia blushes as Tim chuckles. "Yeah, well, you're just jealous cos you're too old," Georgia says, sticking out her tongue as she stands up. "Careful," Cheryl fusses, and Georgia rolls her eyes. "Nan, I may be the size of a truck but I can stand up." "I know, I know," Cheryl says, smiling. "I'm going to Max's," Georgia says.
At the Evans',
Tony Evans is talking to his wife
Stephanie Evans. "I was thinking, y'know, about the force. I wanna re-join," Tony states, and Stephanie frowns. Stephanie tells Tony she doesn't think that is a good idea, saying "remember what happened last time". Tony frowns, and says it was one mistake, and he shouldn't have to keep paying for it. At that moment, Tony and Stephanie's daughter
Emma Evans arrives with her 10 year-old son
Harry Evans as Harry is ill and Stephanie has offered to babysit. "Not interrupting, am I?" Emma asks, noting the tense atmosphere.
At the Cafι,
Carroll's Cafι, owned by Cheryl Carroll,
Amira Bush is sat with her daughter,
Jasmine Bush, and Amira's elderly friend,
Grace Bloom. They are all eating a cooked breakfast when
Keith Whyte enters, and orders a coffee, before seeing Grace and sitting down at their table. Keith asks them all how they are, and they reply with "good".
On the other side of the cafι,
Peter Donnogan,
James Donnogan,
Michael Cooke,
Jamie Cooke and
Stanley Cooke are sat at a table, talking about the local pub football teams' football results of the previous night in which Jamie played. Peter mentions next week's match, in which they are playing rival pub
The Phantom Coach. "It'll be fine," Jamie says cockily, and Michael chuckles.
At a hotel somewhere,
Danny is lying in bed, kissing somebody. As the pair have sex, the person is revealed to be
Georgia...
ALSO... the Mercer's (Paul, Lillie, Freddie, Jodie, Richard, Aaron, Spencer, Ross, Rubie) and the Carter's (David, Lucy, Luke, Kierston, Nicola) find themselves in an argument after Spencer accidentally bad-mouths Luke's dead-fiancιe, Leela.

Simon - she wants to buy the pub.
At the Crawfords' house,
Fraser and
Elaine Crawford are sat on the sofa, watching TV when Elaine's phone rings. Elaine looks at it and declines the call. The phone rings several more times, and each time Elaine declines. Fraser watches her suspiciously...
AND at the pub,
Georgia is now sat at a table with her grandparents
Tim and
Cheryl, having left the hotel following hers and Danny's passionate sex session.
Danny is constantly staring at Georgia, whilst Georgia keeps glancing at Danny, something which Cheryl notices. Georgia groans, holding her stomach. "Are you OK?" Cheryl asks, and Georgia shrugs. "I don't-..." she freezes as water trickles down her leg. "Nan - I think my waters have broken..."
