These people just don't live in the same world as the rest of us. I kinda feel a little bit sorry for Janice because she's obviously never even seen the real world from anyone else's perspective, but at 60 its a bit old to be having no humility whatsoever

When you've lived the kind of life she has, and for as long as she has ... she has done it all. That's kind of, if you think about it, why they invited her on the show, you know.

True, but it's hardly an excuse to behave like an ass.
Janice says she's there to impart wisdom, and given her life experiences I would have thought she would give some good life advice. But, disappointingly, there's been little logic or wisdom shared by her.

Surely she's just doing what's expected of her. I would imagine reality TV has been pretty lucrative for her - she's hired for her 'specialist' persona - I don't see her suddenly becoming a kind, understanding, selfless person anytime soon.
That's what's a bit sad really with regard to the US contestants in particular - it's simply another payday/role for them. I don't know if I'm right in thinking the UK contestants are a little different - maybe that's why they've been called bores on another thread.
I just find the trumped up arguments and faux outrage rather tiresome TBH,

I know. So far she has a lot of gay friends, all, ALL of whom died. We learned tonight that her kids are half Jewish. I can't wait to find out what the other half is going to be. I hope Snoop has a go tomorrow so that she has to claim that the other half of her children is African American.

Hmm interesting. The difference between character and caricature maybe. Or perhaps reflects the difference in the acting profession where most British actors look upon themselves as craftsmen and Americans ones sometimes just as stars.
