No, that isn't the case. Leona didn't 'leave'. The contract expired, she fulfilled the needs of the contract. She did everything she was supposed to do in that contract, there was no termination. If she had gone against the contract, then everything - including royalties - would be terminated and she wouldn't then go on a US Radio tour performing a song (Bleeding Love) that would only generate profit for her previous record label.
She still gets a cut of all sales from previous albums and singles.
