I've spent several days googling and this article is the only image I can find about it.
Sadly, the article also doesn't know what it is!

http://onlinedevs.com/unknown-htc-on...-icon-not-nfc/

(You need to scroll down the page a bit for the image)

The only time it has appeared is while using Route 66 Navigate app, and it sounds an alarm at the same time. The moment the 2 second alarm finishes, the icon disappears again.

I'm using an HTC One mini 2

Thanks

It's HTC boomsound http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-one-m8/boomsound/

30 seconds on Google

I'd have a look in the boomsound app for the settings and notifications

Thank you!
You're a better googler than me!

It's only there on my settings!

Sorry I realise how smug I sounded. I sounds like it only comes up when boomsound is playing audio, it may be that you can change the settings or if you close the app that was playing audio it shouldn't stay there.
