Hanging around like a bad smell.

The only time Sir Bruce is forced to 'hang around' trev is when they forced him to stand the whole time on the stairs behind a pillar while the dancing is taking place, its a shame the BBC did not push the boat out and buy him a stool to sit on to save his legs during filming.

He made himself look like a right bellend in the end going off on stupid tangents.

It's amazing what some people see because I saw his superb interaction with everyone.

The show has moved on. Now, it's a much slicker, more professional operation. Praise be Bruce only lingers for specials and doesn't infect the main show all that much.

The show has indeed moved into a beige phase, but it is nice to be reminded of the glory days with the specials trev.

In his own words, publicising a new, ego-boosting autobiography, he admits that the first few years on Strictly were a struggle for him as he had got no idea how to react when he hadn't a mass of adoring and uncritical fans in front of him.

Basically, he could not cope with being a support act to the dancers and Judges.

Hmm.

No one wants him any more for a regular programme, even had to finance his own "tour."

He's doing his best to promote his autobiography, priced at £20.00 due out later this month.

So another candidate for the "remainder" bin at fiver, in Waterstones by December?

Maybe only £4 from The BookPeople who leave random books in offices for staff to buy.

I agree with what you say about Sir Bruce having a mass of adoring fans, his new book could actually become a best seller, Sir Bruce is a living legend after all.

I wouldn't rush to buy a copy just yet. As other, wiser souls than I, have intimated, the turgid tome will soon be remaindered in all major, (and countless minor), bookseller shortly before pitifully pristine copies appear in Charity shops who will use them as doorstops. Shortly after that they will be available, free, at your local recycling centre.

Its a bit of a risk take, I would hate to miss out on a Sir Bruce best seller.

You must believe in the Easter bunny
BF can only produce a limited number of tap steps based on a very outdated tap style

The last time he did any tap dancing on Strictly, he had to do it sitting on a chair.

Maybe they weren't even his legs?

Sir Bruce was doing some amazingly light footed tap dancing on his one man show not so long ago, once youve got amazing dancing talent you never loose it.

The problem is Terry, in the case of FForsyth he didn't have "amazing dancing talent" in the first place. Therefore, he hasn't got much to lose, and, indeed, he has lost it already.

Do visit Specsavers before you watch any of his antediluvian performances in future!!

Don't be silly.

Did you see Len Goodman dance in the introductory show?

He was pathetic, shows what happens to "dancing talent," when you're seventy-one, he's totally lost it, if he ever really had it.
Bruce is just as bad.

Just looked up the new book.

Hard back cover price - £20.00
Discounted by most sellers to £15.00
Pre-order on Amazon - £10.00

That means it will be remaindered at around £2.00

Or, more likely, pulped.

Alternatively, perhaps the copies could be used as bio-fuel. On second thoughts, though, BS doesn't burn too well.

It will be fabulous to see Sir Bruce back in his rightful role at the helm of Strictly Come Dancing to remind us of the glory days when the show was at the top.
