I don't think "first out" has anything to do with dancing ability, or lack of, it is almost entirely down to popularity.
In a way, for this years celebs, it's a pity there is no Tony Jacklin or Edwina Currie making up the numbers because they all look like they could be about week 3 or 4 eliminees, with a fair wind and favourable dance picks behind them. |

DoD has many avid fans so he may stay a lot longer than one might suspect.
I went to a concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic a few years ago and dozens of his fans were camping outside waiting for the box office to open the following morning to buy tickets. I hadn't heard of him until that point. Anyway that hasn't stopped me from voting him first out

Are you sure though?
DOD's fans must mostly be Irish and we all know the Irish Republic cant vote. He will be an earlyish boot in my opinion. Am not sure until I see them dance but I have a feeling Jeremy might surprise. A half decent IP unblocker, 3 online votes for free!

oh come on guys! I mean, i accept its looking like jeremy (the only person i had any real knowledge of) isn't going to go far, but surely surely that little gnome daniel o'dreadful will go out before him??

I think a lot of us hope that that will happen but Daniel has a large fanbase so will be around for a while.
![]() What to do .No, I'm sorry, family comes first , and my mum's little face if he gets thrown out first will be unbearable , so I want him to stay in for a few weeks .

I agree. With so many couples at the start, no fan base is a killer.
Precisely! And then you can also use different email addresses to open multiple accounts. Where there's a will there's a way and I suspect DOD fans could be pretty determined! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Anthony could be in trouble for the first boot, I can't see him having a fan base that watches Strictly with no real stand out duffer he could slip out. |

He's very popular in Scotland, I can't see him going anywhere for a few weeks
Anthony could be in trouble for the first boot. He is one of a scanty choice of male eye candy this year - which will safely see him through a good few weeks. |

Daniel. No energy whatsoever, how's he gonna dance?! (I'd secretly love it if he's amazing though, just for the shock!)

I'm going to guess Georgia. She didn't smile when they introduced her at the top of the steps, and I think the nerves might get to her. Plus, she's someone who people will assume is safe and who they won't necessarily vote for. So, unless the judges mark them highly, she could easily be a shock exit.

I think the DODs fan base will keep him in for a while, so I am going with Carole, based on the group dance tonight, unless she has a good fan base and there are plenty of Pasha votes going her way

Carol and Jeremy are definitely in danger, Daniel would be too if it weren't for his massive fan base.

It really saddens me, because it is as obbious as daylight they're bogus yet genuine Syrians are seeking asylum in europe. The Pakistani problem from Britain to Ireland is at crisis point, our justice minister will have meetings with Tereasa May. |

Sport people do not always have a good fan base, but Iwan also does commentating, so people may know him. Although decent looking, Anthony seems rather wooden, plus currently injured, so he got my vote.
