Anyone else going to try their hardest and wait for Saturday night?

The people who do spoilers are fabulous regarding tagging them clearly as spoilers , but so often other people thoughtlessly let things slip . Like in a thread about Miss X being rather aloof someone might say "Yes but Pasha won't let her get away with that" , and there you are, cat out of bag who her partner is .

That said I'm hoping to stand firm and avoid spoilers .Wish me luck .

After last year when not once but twice, some idiots posted (before the Sunday show) who had been eliminated, today is my last day in this forum and I will never be here late Saturday and all day Sunday.

I just don't want to know.

Btw if anyone else feels like me, avoid the Daily Mail on Sunday also.

I avoid DS and Daily Mail at weekends. Pretty much have to keep off my FB too when people post when they're pissed off that XXX has been eliminated!

I am trying so hard not to look at the Spoiler thread or else there is no point in watching Saturday's show in my personal opinion and my Mom will be watching it!

I will try not to look at the spoiler thread but when it comes to Strictly, its like me and chocolate, I try to resist but I just can't help myself!

No, I'm already dreaming of the pleasure I will have waiting for the spoiler to arrive!

I usually do look but this year I am making a strong effort not to. I hope it's worth it and I will not have to throw a slipper at the TV over [what I think] is a rubbish pairing

I used to always check the spoiler but then two years ago I decided not to and to wait until the Saturday,,,it was hard but I really enjoyed watching the show and not knowing who was with who,,,,,hoping I can do it again this year, but yes it does mean not going online at all until Saturday, now that is really really hard!!

I usually tend to avoid all spoilers - in fact, the only result that was directly spoiled for me last year was when Pixie was eliminated, so you can imagine my frustration at the one shock result being ruined. Hopefully no plonkers who do take a look in the Spoiler Thread will do the same this year...

I know what you mean Ding Dong but unless they are false someone already has on one of the other non spoiler threads.

Have they? Can I ask what thread the spoiler's in so as to avoid it at all costs?

I dont mind for myself as I read the spoiler thread, but it is unfair for those who want to wait for the Saturday reveal - hopefully a mod will remove it or at least put it into spoiler tags...

It's probably better to stay off till Saturday night if you want to avoid spoilers I have also saw the pairings on twitter.

I tried - but I've the willpower of a gnat so I caved in! Only checked one or 2 pairings though, so will still have some ooo moments on Saturday.

And I've alerted the mods to that spoiler so hopefully they can remove it before too many people stumble across it.

Why do some people not appreciate the fact that some of us would rather wait so that we are not watching a television show and know whats going to happen before it starts?

It was still there a few minutes ago, but to be fair to the poster they have taken the time to use spoiler tags

There are now two spoiler threads running the latest has no replys yet but the first has hundereds of reply's so it is going to be hard going waiting till Saturday but still and even more so if like me you have to record for football and or rugby not sure when the Rugby World Cup officially starts though as thats on ITV.
