Horrible. I assume they asked her permission if they could show her having a seizure on TV? At least I hope they did. Though why they'd want to is beyond me.

They OBVIOUSLY showed it because it was fake as hell. Everyone knows what cowards the BB produers are.

Must be a first for BB to go just so graphic.

Before we get any posters saying they were laughing, like they have on another post.

How would u feel if you were fittting, you wouldnt be laughing

I thought that, I don't think they would have shown it if it was genuine

That was shocking! Why did they feel the need to air that! Very uncomfortable viewing...

Well if it was fake and that was the context they were showing it in, then that would be a different story... But that didn't appear to be the context at all. They showed a woman who's arm was swollen and going purple from a sting... They showed her starting to panic... They showed a medic trying to talk to her... They showed her apprently fitting on the floor... Then they showed Emma in a very serious tone telling us that she received full medical assistance and is now recovered.

Not everyone fitting will fit in the same way.

I've seen many people have seizures but never anything like that. I believed her about the sting but that was the oddest seizure I've ever seen.

I have to say, I honestly thought it was fake too, and a pretty low thing to do. Nothing she does surprises me though. I am surprised that so many people believed it to be genuine though.

Seizures take many forms.

That's true. Some people are actually having a fit, when to other people they look like they are daydreaming.

I think it was more of a panic attack rather than a fit. She did seem scared that the sting would travel to her heart and this probably led her to panic and freak out a bit.

We're comparing and contrasting to seizures we might have seen in real life to decide whether this one was fake or not now are we? By, we are a classy bunch on here aren't we?

Yes but people fitting dont look around them and carefully, gently, roll onto the floor like gillian mckeith and make mewling noises for the camera. Your eyeballs go into the back of your head and you drop to the floor like a lead weight.

Yep. I have partial-complex seizures that just make me appear drunk and disorientated. I have tonic-clonic seizures that look somewhat like what Janice has, I had a camera in my room for some time in an attempt to record them and the few I saw all took very different forms. I have absence seizures that just look like I'm daydreaming.

Point is that there is no way to say "that didn't look like a seizure".

True, but what Janice did wasn't one of them.

No I don't, I have sufficent time and warning to get myself to the floor and in to a suitable position. I usually make noises as the muscles in my throat contract and release quickly.

Yep, me too. Especially the way she conveniently managed to avoid the medic....

There is also the recovery from a seizure, you don't just bounce back within a couple of hours.

I can. Depends how long it lasts and whether I cause injury to myself. I've been known to seizure in the office and then be back at my desk within an hour. Life goes on.
