Day 7: Stevi and Chloe-Jasmine have trust issues in the toilet
http://bigbrother.channel5.com/day-7...-issues-toilet
There’s trouble in paradise. Or the bathroom, at least. Last night Stevi was worried that Chloe-Jasmine has her eye on James. Needless to say, there were tears before bedtime.

I am inclined to the view that this relationship is sincere. Misguided, dysfunctional, possibly toxic and almost certainly doomed, but sincere.

Now Stevi thinks Chloe wants James , he can tell by the way she looks at James .
Why do I feel this whole relationship has been one big set up from the start and this is the start of the "split"

I've found it oddly believable from the off. There's just something genuine there - awkward as they look and act. I think they're very co-dependent and it's almost like their shared experience on the Cowell merry-go-round has built up this bond or something.

I'm making less sense than usual; but the point is that, completely contrary to my usual take on BB 'romances' - this one I buy.

I kind of do but I just find their conversations odd. They appear awfully staged like all those bits on the X Factor & BGT where the contestants are waiting to go on and we're supposed to believe they are having spontaneous conversations which the camera's just happen to overhear, which come across as anything but natural.
I'm also finding it quite odd that they have been together for almost a year now and they are talking like they've been together a week.

I really don't know what to think!

I think it is because I find it so unhealthy that I find it believable, in that they believe it. If it was a staged showmance I don't think they could have woven so many dysfunctional elements in, unless they have a prize winning script writer crafting fiendishly clever and subtle plot lines for them.

Actually Patsy I think you may be barking up the right tree with the shared experience idea.

A couple of times in my life I have shared a very intense experience (journey ) with other colleagues and have become deeply attracted to them.

It evaporates pretty quickly once the shared endeavour is over as if that was the cement that was pulling us together. But I only discovered that after the event, at the time it felt real enough.

James is more Chole-Jasmine's league. Let's be honest Stevie is punching way above his weight class.

That's made LOL An.

Nothing I like more than a BIB relationship.

I honestly don't know what to make of that pair.

I don't dislike these two.. but they are clearly uncomfortable in the big brother house.

I think chloe has insecurity issues and think steve 'bless him' would probably hook up with anyone who showed him an interest.

It's all rather odd although I don't think it's a planned showmance... just more of they serve each other a purpose for the time being.

Co dependency? I think another poster suggested that but I can't see who now. Yes I do see what you mean.

and I think you are lovely smurftc..

I think the pair of them are as fake as a nine bob note.

I see nothing remotely genuine about them and I'm actually annoyed that they seem to be taking folk in with their "relationship". I will duly apologise if I am wrong, but for now I think they scream wanabee...and fake.
