Maybe her secretary told her that Paul was in BB as a guest, as the Queen has an Internet account, so can dip in when she wants to, or the Secretary can, and if he told her then she might watch to see how Paul behaves, as a matter of interest.

I very much doubt the Queen watches Big Brother... Although if she did, I'm sure Paul Burrell's entrance was enough to make her switch the TV off.
