Don't fool yourself.
Oh, they were cast specifically because they were terrible people, to be sure.
But Janice, for example, knows how to turn the villainy on and off depending on what her bosses ask. Daniel is a legitimate coke-fiend, but also apparently played things up even more for the cameras for the Celeb Rehab show he was on. Jenna is the hardest to tell. Despite being in a genre of films that don't REQUIRE much actual acting, she did it for a LONG time and I think merely having tens of millions of men believe she was enjoying it speaks to her ability to ramp up something from the reality of a situation.
Farrah seems genuinely stupid. Borderline mentally handicapped (as well as emotionally infantile), but even she got that way because a reality show spent years coaching her to elevate her reactions to get more screentime.
Even Scoop knows the game, albeit in his case simply from being a loyal viewer of THIS show. Act up, get screentime. It's not "natural" in any way.
The big question might be if the BB producers took them aside and gave specific instructions. I've always believed they do this. Many people doubt this. But no matter what. this is hardly people acting like they naturally would. It's a trade-off. Over-react and get more time on the Telly. The Americans realise this, as did Brits from the past, like James Jordan, Charlotte Crosby, Katie Hopkins and many others.
