Who'll produce this series' first "WOW" dance?
Some years, there's been an early dance that really fires up the public and judges; Jill's Jive, Sophie's Charleston, Jake's Salsa etc. Do we think we'll get one of those this year? And if so, who from?
![]() Edit: It's multiple choice, in case you think we'll be spoiled, which, given the caliber of celebrities dance-wise, we may very well be.

In theory it should be Jay as he's the best dancer on paper. But it is down to the choreography and the allocation of the dances as much as the celeb. (as from the egs above we know it isn't always the best dancer who does an early good performance)

I think, if he gets a Latin, then Peter could possibly produce something wow... but if it's ballroom, then no chance.....
On paper, Jay should be great, but again, will depend on which dance he is allocated |

The general consensus seems (so far) to be Jay, Helen, or Peter for the first "would've gotten 10s in a later week" dance, with Katie, Ainsley, and Kellie hot on their heels, and Anthony, Daniel, and Jamelia in the utter doldrums; will be interesting to see how the pairings affect our perceptions when they become public.

I think if Jamelia is the best dancer Strictly has ever seen she will still be unpopular. Many have already decided they hate her.

If Anthony and Oti get any kind of a Latin dance I expect to see something rather good.
Oti is a superb Latin dancer - better than any of the other pros. No clue about her ballroom though. |
