Don't think they would go like Discovery Fox sky ect. - Free, or Lite They will think that the public will think. Why should I pay when I can get it on Freeview?

Is it me or should Community move to the local network of multiplexes?
It saves it from being shunted on to Freeview HD all the time a station wants to launch and at least makes the local multiplexes run at full strength..

Never understood why Arqiva moved it back in the first place, it was inevitable that it wouldn't be there very long. Maybe they were just testing the extra stream with it.

I'm not in the demographic admittedly but this channel looks truly dire. Worst schedule I've seen from any new entertainment channel on the platform ever.
It only has about four programmes on rotation all day, one of those being Don't Tell the Bride which is on three channels already.
Don't waste your time retuning for this would be my advice.

I guess its more choice and that has to be good. What's with all these political posts, yes we know the Labour party wants its members to post here, there and everywhere ..but it actually switches more people off than on, I suggest.

This is closer to what free TV would really be like if (or rather when) he and his Tory chums get their way and kill off the BBC by the back door. We all know that the massively-hyped "quality" British dramas Sky occasionally comes up with are as much a ploy to show there's no need for the BBC to do it as anything else.

As others said, not good for the brand- Pick TV is full of obvious cheap castoffs and got noticeably worse after they changed the name from Sky 3. (Is that a coincidence? Hmm.)
Quest used to have some okay accessible-but-factual stuff (e.g. Mythbusters), but seems to be almost entirely filled with docusoap crap now, like "American Chopper" (i.e. superficially about bikes, but they're only used to justify and give a "man friendly" coating to something that's just more faked-via-editing interpersonal-conflict "reality" crap).
Ditto "Storage Wars", well-known for accusations of fakery against it. Rather than attempting to disprove these claims in court, the producers argued that they were permitted to do this due to the US First Amendment. Which essentially confirms that it's faked to the point of worthlessness, as if most reality shows aren't.
Even the factual shows are over-bombastic, dumbed-down toss aimed at the stereotypical "man" market.
I know that Quest is owned by Discovery, and given that it's probably not even worth keeping on my EPG for free, it sure as hell wouldn't make me want to waste money on their pay channels!
