Corrie is now on 6 times a week whereas ED is on for 7 with the 2 one hour eps on a Tue & Thu!

Surely it no longer has anything to do with missing episodes during the Rugby World Cup. I noticed on the Corrie thread that there's going to be an episode on Sunday 13th

I think it is because there will be a number of nights throughout October when there will be no Emmerdale episodes at all because of the Rugby World Cup so we should make the most of it while we can.

Once upon a time, we used to cope pretty well with just two, high quality, episodes each week.
