As someone who is old enough to remember Nirvana when they were cool first time round (floppy hair and big check shirts and that) but not really being a Nirvana fan, but being a big grunge fan and also a big music fan in general, I will say this (on the record)

Incesticide is not only Nirvana's best album, it is also one of the top five albums released in the 90s.

Javelin.

Not really - it's full of duff filler and bland covers and it's better moments were mostly available beforehand in other formats.

Nevermind is the best Nirvana album.

I'd argue that Bleach was their best album, and by a long way, too.

Huge Nirvana fan myself. I've always really liked Aneurysm and Dive from Incesticide, but I really don't think they have another album that matches the quality of Nevermind.

Disagree. That would be In Utero for me.

It's an album of demos, covers and outtakes. It's an insult to even call it an album.

Nevermind or In Utero. Nothing else really counts.

The voice of generation X, amazing song writing, amazing music.

People say oasis or blur but for me Nirvana blew both of them out the water. Not a day goes by when i dont listen to at least 1 nirvana track.

Today i was listening to the album in Utero. Happy moments.

I think Muddy Banks of the Wishkah was their best album.

I don't really, but seems all the others have been mentioned.

I'm not sure Incesticide is even in the top 5 Nirvana albums let alone the 90s albums.

'Nevermind', 'In Utero', 'Unplugged', 'Bleach' are better...

Agreed.

I didn't mind a couple of songs on Incesticide, it was a better than In Utero, which I just found maungy, but Nevermind is the only Nirvana album I really liked.

I know and enjoy the most famous Nirvana songs but I've not properly listened to them at any great length. Maybe something for me to do this afternoon.

In Utero is their best album. Great songs without the saccharine production of Nevermind.

Actually if you're a fan of the more famous Nirvana their dispute with this band are well known. They kept trying to sue Cobain right up until the end.

Arrogance is another form of ignorance.

Trying to cash in on the success.

If I take it as which album has more songs on it that I prefer then it would be Nevermind. Pretty much like the whole album.

For me the other albums it's only one or two or half the album so that's why Nevermind wins out for me.

For me nevermind is a excellent album to sing along too and rock out, bleach is underrated and is perfect when off your head. In utero is fantastic to just rock out with and feel cobains feelings more so than any other album.

Un plugged is an album anyone can listen to who loves live uncut pure music and instantly find a song they want to hear the studio version of.

So gutted Kurt is not around and what would have happened with his future projects.

Or maybe 99.999% of the forum will ignore it as its clearly an ignorant attempt at trolling.

As for the topic as unoriginal as it is Nevermind is my fav.

It is neither arrogance or an ignorant attempt at trolling but a statement of fact, the vast majority of people who use this forum will not be aware there was another band called Nirvana.

Some people need to lighten up and get a sense of humour.

So it went from 99.99% to vast majority in two posts so much for the facts!
