I couldn't agree more. I met Peter and Emily at an airport earlier this year, and found them delightful. I had never really watched Strictly before, but decided to watch this time, to see how he got on. I joined this Forum in the hope of learning a little, and discussing stuff generally. What I have seen is unbelievable. I understand we don't all like the same people, but he seems to be the dominant obsession in some people's lives, spitting out the vitriol you mention morning noon and night on here. The irony is that it doesn't appear to be harming him. Professionally he is doing well, although if he were to see some of the nastiness, I'm sure it would hurt, especially when it concerns his wife.

I can't abide Simon Cowell, so I avoid him like the plague. Much easier on the blood pressure.

I agree with you and I avoid most of the threads of a similar nature. Don't be put off, there are quite a few threads that are worth reading and are of interest.

Don't agree with Craig . Peter may not win but he should certainly reach the last 5 .
My only worry is, I'm not too sure how good Janette is at teaching and choreographing good Ballroom .

Looking for verification of the story I picked up somewhere that Brendan took himself off to the Cotswolds for 'break' this week, but no mention of it on here?

If it's true, and if Kirsty was willing and ready for training sessions, then it's completely unacceptable imo.

Of course there could be extenuating circumstances (his child has been ill I gather, or Kirsty might have been unavailable for training.)

He has been mentally checked out for the last two seasons (at least), but now it seems he is physically checking out as well!

In the publics eyes Peter is the only real star on the show, and he has great charisma.

Same here for me , and my dad knew who Anita/Jeremy et all are as they are the type of shows he willwatch my dad is a times reading natural TV show watcher avoids zlebs. As best he can with his lifestyle , so tho I agree he us well known to some he is not the star at all..not to everyone
