Anyway, I have googled Farrah and Wiki describes her.

One of the things it says is that she made a sex tape called teen mom backdoor . (I think I get the picture)

Am I alone in wondering when releasing a tape of getting your bum hole plundered became a career?

Farrah was on the show 16 & Pregnant, along with three other pregnant moms. After that show, those same four moms began a series of several seasons of Teen Mom. Of the four moms, Farrah is the only one to have left the show. Not sure if she was kicked off, or perhaps the producers wouldn't meet her demands.

I suspect that she's had no success in getting work on any TV show here in the US, and that she's hoping that by doing Celebrity Big Brother UK, it might give her some more opportunities to "be a business woman." I've never heard her say that she wanted to "be a mom."

I find it amazing that some people spend their days and night discussing people they cant stand. If Farrah goes tonight this forum will be even slower that it has been this week. I am sure she will be delighted that her name dominated this forum this week.

What I find interesting is that in the entire world of celebrity, BB chose her. I mean, really... there are loads of washed up people that are famous for stuff other than THAT. I don't really care if they are current, but surely there are enough desperate people looking for a paycheck to do CBB that are more noteworthy than Farrah?

Clearly the foul-mouthed, intellectually challenged and morally bankrupt (surgically-enhanced or otherwise) teens and twenty-somethings of today have not tired of gazing longingly, aspirationally amd somewhat jealously at such people so it is hardly a puzzle that C5 should choose to feature them so prominently (and not just on BB/CBB!). They know their demographic!

Fair point on calling out my affected surprise (I'm sure you spotted the sarcasm) , though I might point out that you yourself begin by feigning confusion ("I am increasingly mystified") and then immediately hypothesise an explanation ("it must be because they cater for a certain market") that suggests that you might not be terribly mystified at all and are just pretending.
