Looking at the new trailer, why is Phil threatening Jane so badly?

yep , Jane was perfectly ok with letting Ben take the fall for it and Phil handed the evidence over to the police because he was doubting his own kid and wanted to do the right thing for once .
Because the Scriptwriters have realised Phil has never attacked Jane before and it is EastEnders law that Phil attacks everyone at some point and also because she gave him the wrong change when he went into the Cafe for a full English.

That actually makes sense now. I thought it was odd Phil was so angry.
