It was absolutely pathetic
What an abysmal and peculiar way to end it. I can not understand why they chose to play it this way. Like you said this should have been a moving scene, where the viewer empathises for their sorrow but the only emotion that was stirred in me was anger!

I love Cathy.

I wish the storyline was more about Simon struggling and needing help rather than it being about Leanne going through another difficult time.”

Good point - it's all been from Leanne's perspective so far.

Child with cancer sls are always depressing but adding Fiz into the mix makes it 10x more depressing. I hate her whiny baby voice, which will torture us until hurrrpe is better.

So fed up of Carla.

Poor Leanne

Simon's growing rapidly, testosterone is flowing through his body and his strength is increasing, plus his behaviour is rather unpredictable, to say the least. Leanne, on the other hand, is a small female at 5' 3" and is struggling to walk that fine line between taking control and being too laissez-faire.

I think the developing abuse storyline is totally believable and, for once, the programme hasn't gone with the old cliché of adult partner abuse.

The boy needs his dad, so maybe something will transpire to make that happen.
