Why did BB even set her that task ? what does it actually have to do with this royal task exactly ? It's causing trouble for the hell of it, that's what it is.

BB didn't set Farrah the task. She was nominated by the majority of Americans to take it on. And BB did not tell her to be homophobic. All that was instructed was to cause an argument among the royals which is totally in line with the task. Farrah interpreted that her own homophobic way.

It was still part of BB's task though and i don't see why they set that up when it had nothing to do with this task. It also seems like you think i am making excuses for Farrah when i'm not, i know BB didn't tell her to be homophobic.

Better to be sensitive than insensitive.

I can safely say all the Brits in the house have behaved with the maturity and basic human decency that has been lacking in their American counterparts.

Yes, I now hope all the Americans go out one after the other. I am proud of the way the Brits are behaving, they can hold their heads up that 's for sure.

she wasn't encouraged to behave like that - it was totally her choice as to how to approach the task.

The mankini stretched the decency a bit.

I'm genuinely not bothered by much I see on telly, but that was really offensive viewing.”

It was awful, but I guess that's BB now. Still it means I don't have to give up my whole Friday evening to watch such crap.

Yes it was interesting that her idea of the greatest insult you can hurl at someone when trying to make them snap is to call them a lesbian.

I don't know why that task was judged to have been successfully passed either. In the face of huge provocation Chloe, Gail, Natasha and James showed extraordinary forbearance and dignity. They got upset sure but they didn't lose their tempers.

The problem with a task like that where a hm or hms are challenged to say things to make another hm or hms angry under the aegis of a secret task is that they will tend to take full advantage knowing they can be more extreme then they might otherwise be knowing that they have a built in defence - that it was for the task!

I Agree 100%. It showed her being told in the DR that her language was against BB rules but didn't show what warning she received (if any) Very uncomfortable viewing tonight

It was 100% BB's fault, even without the slurs the task was scraping the bottom of the barrel. The producers are SO desperate to cause friction and arguments , then act surprised when Farrah goes in with both feet.

2.01am: Uh oh, seems like the tea party task hasn't been forgotten. Austin says he's still holding Farrah's comments against her.

How can they possibly warn her for upsetting people when it was they themselves who gave her the task to upset people?

That really doesn't make sense at all. How is she supposed to upset people without upsetting them?

Yep - going (BB15) going (last CBB with Hopkins et al) gone (BB 16, with this CBB the swansong) for me.

Yes but it just becomes ever and ever oh so more clear to so many people (apart from production and presenters who belittle the fans when they deign to speak down to us, and no doubt have a great old knees up at the afterparty slapping each other on the back for a 'job well done', as they look at the press 'controversy' analytics and drunkenly plant their 'great big twist' for the next series).

I'm not sure you have to be homophobic to call a straight person gay when you're trying to upset them.

What's more, if you were offended by being called gay when you aren't, wouldn't you be being homophobic yourself due to thinking that being seen to be gay is a bad thing?
The person calling another person gay doesn't necessarily have to be homophobic.

By the way I'm not saying anybody is being homophobic.

If you don't think it's likely to upset them how on earth is that not homophobic?
